We had a Gremlin.

If you've sent an email in the last 7 or so days & it's been ignored, fear not - some bright spark decided to mess with the webform for their own amusement meaning all emails were redirected into space.

The issue has been solved & all should be back to normal.

If you ever need us, the email is [email protected]

Be well John Spartan.

Quick heads up for everybody!

The guys in Denmark are going to be on annual leave from the 18th until the 26th, orders will go out as soon as they're back.

We also had a few technical issues with emails a few days back, all should be working fine again now.

Enjoy your Monday!

24/08/2024

We've been reasonably quiet here, the reason is simple - FaceBook really doesn't like the "A" word.

We're as busy as always, youtube videos are going up & I'm going to recommence regular Warhead posts here but many groups & pages are getting nuked by the bots.

As always, if you need to contact us Chris & I are in the emails twice a day minimum so if you need anything at all, [email protected] please.

It's the Easter weekend!

I'll be on the emails as per usual, but certain replies will likely be answered Tuesday.

Enjoy the bunny eggs!

Just a quickie!

If you're in the process of sending things to us, please please please ensure you email your full name & address to us along with your full contact details in the package - it can get tricky if we receive something & we have no idea who it's from, why we have it or where it needs to go to!

08/03/2024

Good morning all!

BB's are now in stock in many fancy flavours , heavy, very heavy & also tracer.

Please also take note, as stated previously, we at warhead won't tolerate abusive &/or rude emails or social media comments.

If you've asked after our advice & we've suggested a different way of building your gearbox etc we do not expect nor will tolerate people sending multiple emails with rantings & ravings

We all have an area of expertise, if your gears fail repeatedly or if you're running an extreme build (low power, very high voltage & high speed gears with the fastest motor we make for example) it won't be the fault of the motor that the internal parts of gearbox break as that would 100% be down to the build itself & being open to better way of doing something is something that you & we all should consider.

We also do not tolerate threats.

Threats of violence, threats of cancellation, threats of whistle blowing.

We are here to help you.

If you treat us with according pleasantries' we will do the same but if a person feels they would like to rant, rave, shout & threaten us, we simply won't help you.

On a side note if you ever saw the "warranty claims" we get where a motor has been complete disassembled, cross wires, thrown on floor, ESC boards snapped, blowtorches applied, we're very sure you'd be mouth open wide levels of shocked.

When a person tells us "I've encountered this issue" we always listen.

If we see that a person may be about to cause serious damage to their motor (or build) we will say so.

It's not like dealing with a cheap company that will sell you a thing & when it breaks quickly you don't get a single response from them once you've raised a query or com plaint, instead we actively engage with you as we legitimately want to help you.

Being told you're doing something incorrectly isn't an insult, we're honestly telling you so that you don't make further mistakes.

Thank you All!

The Warhead Team.

27/12/2023

We hope you had a good Christmas!

As a reminder, although Chris & I are on the enquiries as normal, the guys at the service centres are not at 100% attendance for a few days so please give us until the new year before asking about orders etc ;-)

18/12/2023

Morning all,

It's that silly time of year again!

Over the festive period some of will still be working as normal (reasonably - you know how it is) but obviously there will be service centers etc that will be closed for a few days for a couple of weeks.

I'll still be manning the emails daily.

Delivery times will be sporadic as the postal services will be hit by the holiday post influx so please keep that in mind.

Thank you all!

Luke

Oh couriers....

Around 5 EU orders decided to take a magical journey to the outworld - so we've sent replacement packages out via UPS & sacked off the courier we were trialling.

Apologies to those that have been waiting.

Help Us Help You!

Mistakes happen, we all do it every day.

If you place an order in the UK & make a mistake with your address, we can fix it very quickly.

However, if you make a mistake with your address from our EU distributor there is potentially a few hours delay between them shipping & us seeing your email to change the address & informing them them of the change - they get the orders instantly & automatically & we may not be at work yet ;-)

Please be very careful when ordering, we've had about 9 orders over the weekend (UK bank holiday) where the orders have shipped with the wrong address entered by the customer & they (Bad Boys) aren't open on Tuesdays & as such, that order is now heading to your old address & we can't intercept from the UK...

Thank you!

25/08/2023

It's currently bank holiday weekend here in the UK, this means that email reponses will be a little slower for a few days but we aim to answer as many as possible over the next few days.

Shipments from our guys in the EU will be a little delayed as they're also away for a few days.

22/07/2023

Happy Saturday!

Polite reminder - if a Warhead product is taken apart for any reason by somebody other than one of our listed repair centres, any warranty you had is invalidated.

In airsoft, like any business that focuses around the hobby element, fitting is required.

Although straight forward enough, mistakes can happen & things get damaged but also, sometimes the person or "tech" doing the job may feel out of his depth or just plain make a mistake.

If you have questions regarding fitting, speeds, variations etc please feel free to email us [email protected] & we can advise you, no question is too stupid or too short & we're here to help, I answer emails twice daily (normally).

If you give your motor to anybody that is not one of our recognised techs & that person (for whatever reason) takes it apart, warranty is very unlikely to be held so have them contact us immediately in the case of any faults found or installation problems that are encountered.

If a unit has been disassembled in any way, it's a warranty void BUT we're super nice & will always aim to help JUST DON'T MESS WITH IT! ;-)

24/06/2023

Good morning all!

The website will be updated shortly to reflect this, as you probably know ALL of our motors are being updated to have our new style ESC with reinforced tabs & all models with wires have been discontinued.

There will be a transition phase between the two & obviously there will be motors out there with the older styles of ESC...

Enjoy!

02/06/2023

Good morning all!

Warranty applications - we're having an influx of people who are claiming a warranty repair on items that are many years old or tampered with in some way.

We will always endevour to help wherever possible but we must insist on a proof of purchase (sales reciept) which shows the date & location of purchase & that the warranty card be filled out & submitted to us within 10 days of purchase.

If you cannot provide a proof of purchase, it is very hard to tell how old an item is & as such, we cannot honour any warranty claims however if you do need a tab replacement (where no ESC replacement is required) we will do this FOC for the first breakage & will reinforce the tabs.

We understand that although the Warhead motors have gone through a few transitions of design & style, be it the ESC, the tab design, the pinion type & so on, only motors that are within 12 months from the time of their purchase will be accepted as a warranty claim.

There are still variations out there that are of the older designs being sold & if you'd like the new style of ESC, simply ask the retailer to check for you.

Please note that if an attempt to repair an ESC has taken place by any persons other than a Warhead Airsoft recognised & agreed agent, warranty will be voided - any disassembly of the body of the unit constitutes misuse/tampering.

We do not charge for labour & are more than happy to repair an item for you but please be aware that parts may be chargeable should they be damaged through poor installation.

Don't be afraid to email us regarding repairs, we're super friendly.

Enjoy your weekend!

EU postage & tracking

We're still finding that people are not receiving their tracking numbers (or it's going to their spam).

We use Post Nord & UPS for 99% of EU orders & the items originate in Denmark.

If you don't receive a tracking number within two days, please send us an email & we can send it to you manually.

Please be aware that all postal times are estimated, packages are normally dispatched three times a week & as with any company, we're at the mercy of the postal service & dependant on your location, postage can take a few days longer than desired.

We'd love to be Amazon with next day deliveries but alas...

Safety Mode & Haptic Feedback. 12/04/2023

Here's a video I put up on our YouTube channel a week or so back regarding ETU settings:

https://youtu.be/AarEd9NHZL4

By setting up your ETU manually & NOT using the brushless mode, you should be able to avoid the "red blinking light of safety".

Safety Mode & Haptic Feedback.

12.04.23 UPDATE! DE & AT orders should now track, they have finally been scanned in after the Easter break, the rest have been promised to have a tracking scan by 18:00 Denmark time.

We're firing up after the bank holiday weekend!

EU tracking issues - packages were all dropped off last week but (we assume) owing to the holiday weekend items are not tracking yet.

We're looking into this, the guys in Denmark will be back in their store shortly & hopefully the tracking numbers will all fire up once they return.

How are you coping after the long weekend?
Is it fun being back at work?

(I never stopped because I'm awesome/stupid)

Luke

06/04/2023

Bank holiday weekend is upon us in the UK so the usual suspects won't be around...
But I'll still be around answering emails & so forth & making sure that right people get the right message when they get back.

Luke

02/03/2023

Good afternoon all!

We get asked the same question quite frequently, so I thought I'd post it up here for you.

When an order is made via our EU chaps, it is normally posted within 24 hours but can take 48 hours.

Sometimes the tracking numbers don't instantly appear, we have a system where-by an email should send automatically once the tracking details are entered on the system but this doesn't always happen as certain email addresses confuse the system.

The tracking details are sent to us manually every few days & we often need to enter them using our senescent sales serf (we call him Chris) if the system is having issues sending them out

So don't worry if you don't get the tracking number, after a few days it will go on & your nice shiney motor is likely already on the way.

Enjoy the rest of your day!

Which Grub Screw Size & Which Threadlock?

24/02/2023

Important notice.

We at Warhead will always try to help our customers, we understand that sometimes things happen that although out of our control, can be solved easily despite how frustrating it may initially appear to the customer.

What we won't do, is tolerate abusive & threatening emails.

I'm sure you know who I am, I'm the guy who made a career out of being rude in his youtube videos in the same way that Arnie will portray a relentless killing machine, but it doesn't mean that in real life I'm walking up to the counter at my local airsoft shop & screaming abuse at the customers and staff, it's just not the done thing.

In a conversation you may let an F bomb go by mistake because it's a spur of the moment slip but if you're writing emails & calling people names, it's a preplanned action that you can rectify in advance of sending which is why we're drawing a line.

If you swear at, or are threatening to any member of staff via email or messenger, you will be told that we won't be dealing with you anymore & all communication with you will cease.

Nobody needs to put up with abuse in the workplace from ANYBODY & we at warhead have more respect for each other than to allow that to happen.

Yes, it's frustrating when a delivery person plays "knock door run" or the packing person accidentally sends the wrong motor, so we help where we can but it's not a reason to become abusive or threatening with us.

Thank you for your time.

Luke

Plenty of messages coming in regarding ammo restocks.

We're currently looking at 6 weeks for the container to arrive, once we have them, the webiste will be updated.

Warhead

13/02/2023

Good afternoon all,

In the intersts of customer service & clarity it's been decided to put up a compatibility list for Warhead motors & the most likely to be used ETU/ESC/EFCS units.

Now this is very tricky as I've used Warhead motors in basically everything on the market near as damn it & my findings have sometimes been the opposite of other people findings.

So, making my best judgement from what I have experienced personally & also the queries & complications that get sent directly to us at Warhead, I'm going to be posting which AEG's have which compatibility issues & 'quirks'.

I don't intend to erase any info but I will be updating it when possible.

This will be something that I will dip in & out of so keep checking back.

I'll also be turning off commenting as I don't want to muddy the waters with hearsay - some of you may have an issue I've not heard of yet & some of you have only had issues in relation to your skill set & obviously, I'm awesome ;-)

So.

*Where an ESC or ETU etc is mentioned, it is assumed that you keep the AB off or below 12 %.

* A small batch with new firmware was affected by random ESC & setting combinations & also by bad shiiming or motor installment which was causing the ESC to go into safety mode which although worked as intended but a little too well, the easy solution was to revert back to the old firmware which is what happened.

ARES
I have fitted the Warhead motor to a few ARES AEG's & have found that it worked fine in the units that DIDN'T have an EFCS (so the type with the programming box) for the most part, the L85A3 seemed to be fine with a Warhead motor.

Golden Eagle
The most recent GE M4 has a solenoid & magnet system much like the ARES but even on a 7.4v battery, the semi would be erratic but the same AEG with a high TPA brushed motor didn't behave eratically even on an 11.1v.
I've only tested one unit.

Classic Army
The same system from the ARES & GE as mentioned lives in their Nemesis & a few others & so far, I've had no issues.

Gate Warfet
Seems perfectly fine

Gate Aster
Perfectly fine

Gate Titan/Titan 2
Avoid brushless modes, instead, prior to installing a brushless motor, set battery protection to off, warnings & alerts to off & set active break to manual & off to avoid excessive haptic feedback forcing the motor into "safety mode".

Perun Hybrid
Perfectly fine

Perun AB++, ETU++ & Perun for Vector
Can take a few seconds to "wake up" when the battery is first plugged in, perfect after that.

Perun for AUG/P90
Perfectly fine

Jefftron Leviathan
Perfectly fine, random mixtures of settings can cause a moment where the motor needs to wake up when the battery is first plugged in, it's crazy rare & we've not been able to pinpoint which tiny thing causes it but it's not a risk in any way.

Novritsch SSR90
ETU does not like the Warhead motor or vice/versa & often doesn't power up

Novritsch SSR4
Seemed fine

T238 ETU
Testing again shortly but with so many variations coming & going so quickly, all with varying reliability, it's very hard to say.

APS Silveredge
No idea, I don't ever work on APS

Krytac REC7 & LVOA mosfet
Perfectly fine

VFC Avalon & Mosfet series
Perfectly fine

Cyma Platinum
Perfectly fine, the start up beep becomes distorted but that's all.

Cybergun Famas Evo
Perfectly fine

BTC Spectre for NGRS
Perfectly fine - Thank you to Stuart for this

DE M904G/kestrel ETU
Doesn't work, not brushless compatible possibly.

If you have had anything you've noticed, by all means pop us an email & let us know.

13/01/2023

Chinese New Year is approaching & with Covid still doing it's thing over in China, many businesses have been affected.

We're waiting on delivery of motors & parts & with any luck, our US, EU & UK hubs will be restocked very shortly.

We thank you for your patience!

We are getting many questions on the Titan II and the compatibility of the unit with the Warhead brushless motor.

It'll be exactly the same as other gate products in that it has a brushless mode so simply engage that & all will be good.

Enjoy your weekend!
