Wisdom Pays
Once upon a time in the animal kingdom, there was hunger in the land, and the animals were tired of how they were being killed by Mr Lion. So they gathered and devised a means to put Mr Lion in a cage.
Mr Lion stayed in the cage for weeks without food or drink. He looked gaunt and weak. One day, a young boy was passing through the area where Mr Lion was caged. Mr Lion pleaded with the boy to come to his rescue.
The boy refused at first but after much persuasion from Mr Lion, the boy agreed to free him on one condition: that Mr Lion would not kill him. Mr Lion agreed and the boy opened the cage.
When Mr Lion came out, he thanked the boy and pleaded with the boy to complete the good work he started by presenting himself as food, to save him from imminent death by starvation.
The boy retorted with disappointment:"Why do you want to repay a good thing with a bad thing?"
Mr Lion responded: "It is not my fault. In the present world, bad things are used to repay good things."
After much debate, they decided to ask three people for confirmation. If more people confirmed that bad things are used to repay good things, Mr Lion would devour the boy to save himself from starvation, but if more people said that good things are used to repay good things, the boy would be free.
Mrs Goat came along and they asked her. Mrs Goat said, "It is true that bad things are used to repay good things. I am a living example. My waste product will be used as manure in the farm. When the crops are harvested and I go to taste what my waste product nurtured, human beings will chase me away."
Mr Lion smiled, turned to the boy, licked his tongue and said, "1:0."
As they walked on, they met Mr Dog, who wagged his dog and answered: "This world is bad. Bad things are used to repay good things. I will go into the bush and kill an animal, but when it is time for that animal to be eaten, they will give me only the bones. At night, others will be sleeping and I will be used as the sacrificial lamb for the thief's bullet."
Mr Lion smiled broadly, turned to the boy and said, "One more chance."
The third and last animal they met was Mr Tortoise. When they posed the question to Mr Tortoise, he looked at them thoughtfully and said: "Before I give you my response, I need to know how this argument started, and we need to go to where it started."
So the trio went to where the argument started and the boy narrated the whole story.
Mr tortoise then asked the boy, "Where was Mr Lion the first time you met him?"
"In the cage," the boy responded.
"Go back to the cage," Mr Tortoise said to Mr Lion.
When Mr Lion went into the cage, Mr Tortoise asked the boy, "Was the cage open or locked?"
The boy said that it was locked and Mr Tortoise locked the cage. Then, Mr Tortoise said to the boy, "Let us go; there is nothing left to be said."
There may be ingratitude in the world, but no matter the disappointment,never stop doing good.

A TRUE LIFE STORY
A lady from bible believing church decided to know how many times she attended the church service in a year,
She brought an empty milk container and opened it very small with a nail and she said " I WILL BE PUTTING A BROOM STICK IN THIS CONTAINER ANY DAY I CAME BACK FROM CHURCH"
She started putting the broom sticks inside it from the beginning of the year till the year was almost about end.
Oneday she came back from evening service and did as she does all time,
After her dinner and other things she did,she prayed and went to bed then she had a dream.
She saw herself in a lonely place and a man was sitting there and she walked up to him and the man said to her
" MY DAUGHTER I'VE NOT BEEN SEEING YOU IN THE SERVICES,WHAT'SWRONG?
And she said "SIR I HAVE NEVER MISSED ANY CHURCH SERVICE SINCE THIS YEAR AND I HAVE MY PROVE OF EVIDENCE"
The man looked at her and brought out her broom container and she saw it,rejoiced and said SIR THAT'S MY EVIDENCE
The man asked her to open it and she opened it,looked inside it and couldn't belief what she saw inside it and said SIR,
ARE YOU SURE THIS IS MY CONTAINER?
and he replied YES
She asked I HAVE NEVER MISSED ANY SERVICE SINCE THIS YEAR,HOW COME AM SEEING ONLY ONE BROOM HERE?
And the man said to her
MY DAUGHTER,
THAT ONE BROOM IS THE ONLY DAY YOU CAME TO CHURCH EARLY AND THAT WAS LAST TWO MONTHS AGO,
IN EVERY CHURCH SERVICE.THERE ARE ANGELS THAT ARE ALWAYS SENT TO TAKE ATTENDANCE OF THOSE IN THE CHURCH SERVICE AND THEY COME BEFORE THE TIME AND LEAVE TO REPORT IN HEAVEN A MINUTE AFTER THE SERVICE COMMENCED AND THAT BROOM IS THE ONLY DAY YOU MET THEM BEFORE THEY LEFT
She felled down on her kneels in tears and the man said
NOW GO AND TELL MY PEOPLE THAT LATENESS IS A SIN
And she woke up and went straight to the container and saw many broom sticks but one looks brighter than other ones then she began to cry for mercy.
There are so many people here who takes going to church for granted.
When others are preparing to meet up before the service starts,they will feel so reluctant and say lemme wait for the minister to mount the pulpit before i will come,after all,
I am only coming there to hear the word of the Lord and for the church to just know that i came.
My dear going to church without being recognized by the angels that day is like starting a car without an engine which is not possible and you know it.
In your office,the appropriate time for your work is 8:00am and you are coming to work by 9:00am and still have the impetus to write in attendant book 7:45am or 8:30am
My dear u need to repent from such life style.
When the president or even the governor,celebrities are coming to your community to see the people or for a show
Ofcourse i know you dear not go there late cause i know you would like to be in the front line where u can be able to see and record what ever they are going to do there but you will feel so lazy to go to church early in the morning to greet the President of all presidents,the Governor of all governors,the Celebrity of all celebrities Your maker
