Sarcopenia โ€“ progressive age-related loss of muscle โ€“ reduces quality of life and increases the risk of falls, fractures and death. To help reduce sarcopenia, clinical experts advise eating diet rich in protein and engaging in regular resistance training (meaning exercises that include weights or resistance bands in order to develop muscle strength and stop deterioration).
