Who knew horses could actually contribute to health? đź’– Now only if we could get them covered under our health insurance policy. Lol
Recent studies conducted by the Institute of Heart-Math provide a clue to explain the two-way ′′healing′′ that occurs when we're close to horses.
According to researchers, the heart has an electromagnetic field larger than the brain: a magnetometer can measure the energy field of the heart that radiates from 2.4 meters to 3 meters around the human body.
While this is certainly significant, perhaps more impressive than the electromagnetic field projected by the heart of a horse is five times larger than that of a human being (imagine an electromagnetic sphere around the horse) and it can influence straight into our own heart rate.
Horses are also likely to have what science has identified as a "coherent′′ heart rate (heart rate pattern) that explains why we can feel better when we're close to them. Studies have found a coherent heart pattern or HRV to be a solid measure of well-being and consistent with emotional states of calm and joy-that is, we exhibit such patterns when we feel positive emotions.
A coherent heart pattern is indicative of a system that can recover and adapt to stressful situations very efficiently. Many times, we just need to be in the presence of horses to feel a sense of well-being and peace.
In fact, research shows that people experience many physiological benefits by interacting with horses, including lower blood pressure and heart rate, higher beta-endorphins (neurotransmitters acting as pain suppressors), decreased stress levels, decreased feelings of anger, hostility, tension and anxiety, better social working; and greater feelings of empowerment, confidence, patience and self-efficacy.

Every part of the dandelion is useful: root, leaves, flower. It can be used for food, medicine and dye for coloring.
Up until the 1800s people would pull grass out of their lawns to make room for dandelions and other useful “weeds” like chickweed, malva, and chamomile.
Dandelions have one of the longest flowering seasons of any plant.
Animals such as birds, insects and butterflies consume nectar or seed of dandelion.
Dandelion flowers do not need to be pollinated to form seed.
Dandelion can be used in the production of wine and root beer. Root of dandelion can be used as a substitute for coffee.
Dandelions were well known to ancient Egyptians, Greeks and Romans, and have been used in Chinese traditional medicine for over a thousand years.
Dandelion is used in folk medicine to treat infections and liver disorders. Tea made of dandelion act as diuretic.
Dandelions are, quite possibly, the most successful plants that exist, masters of survival worldwide.
The Eternal, Everlasting Kingdom is within us.
We either create Heaven, or Hell.
It's all Consciousness.
It's all FREEquency.
We choose.
When we make the choice to dwell in the past-in low vibrational memories, anger, unforgiveness, bitterness, versions of ourselves and others, that no longer exist, we attract and invite a continuous stream of the same loops of low frequency energy into our own biofield.
Like attracts like.
The Universal Law of Cause and Effect, Sowing and reaping, whatever you want to call it, it's all real.
What we give out returns to us.
What we plant, we reap.
How we treat others, in turn is how we will ultimately be treated, even if the consequences seem to be delayed.
When we refuse to move forward and it is a choice, the very cells of our bodies respond in maladies of every sort.
Autoimmune diseases show up, in which the body attacks itself.
Digestive issues manifest, which are the body's way of literally saying that we are not processing, ie; digesting and moving life's happenings and are stuck in a story.
Problems with our feet, ankles, elbows and knees, are another way that the body says that we are stubbornly unwilling to process life and we're bound by the past.
Thyroid imbalances, signify that we are not speaking our truth, do not feel heard, or believe that we have the power to speak freely.
Weight gain- the way that the mind materializes matter around us, to insulate us from the things we do not want to honestly recognize and confront.
Issues of the bones and spine, signify unhealthy reliance on outward circumstances and the approval of others and feeling unsupported and inadequate in ourselves.
Heart and lung problems, are the bodies language that begs us to acknowledge heartache and grief.
Liver and gallbladder disturbances, signifying anger, bitterness a stubborn unwillingness to forgive and wanting to control others and have our way.
Yes. The body talks and communicates through the simple language of frequency and vibration, which in turn shows up in manifested ways.
Mind does become matter, so we must make wise choices.
The Universe does the same, communicating through Universal Laws.
As above, so below.
We are here to learn how to master ourselves and these Energies, for the highest good.
Listen to your body.
What is it telling you that you need to work on and address?
This is how we evolve, transmute the darkness to Light and grow into the truest version of ourselves...which is Love incarnate.
Anything not of Love, is a distortion of Love.
There is no way around this.
We alone are responsible for the energy that we create and allow to affect us.
There is no room for the "blame game" here, or passing the proverbial buck.
Love is why we are here.
We learn to effect Energies and FREEquencies through the radical self-mastery, that Love has called us too.
We will only ever receive what we give to others, or plant into the furtile soil of the Universe.
Every thought is an eternal frequency pattern, sent out into the Ether.
Be careful what you wish on, or for others, as the Law dictates that it will return to and on you. Hence the reason the Yeshua taught us to love our neighbors as ourselves.
Because we alone are responsible for our growth, we must always ask, what our part is in any problem, or issue that we are facing, even if our part was simply not listening to the still, small voice within, that gently warned us not to involve ourselves in a situation, or with a particular person.
There is always the warning...Always!
Learning to listen and navigate according to Love's instructions found within, is the key to all growth in the Kingdom within.
It's all inside.
Look no further than you heart.
It is where all answers lie.
As Joshua said in the Deuteronomy 30:15,
"See, I set before you today life and prosperity, death and destruction. For I command you today to love the LORD your God, to walk in his ways, and to keep his commands, decrees and laws; then you will live and increase, and the LORD your God will bless you in the land you are entering to possess.
Heaven, or Hell, Life, or Death, the choice is ours alone.
I choose Life.
I Love you. - Maria ❤️

As we head into the darkest and coldest part of winter, I’d like to share the wisdom of one of the greatest educators I’ve come across. Tyler Tolman presents information clearly and concisely, in a way that once heard, can’t be forgotten. He reminds us that we have the power to heal our bodies by following natural laws; the 7 principles of health. (air, water, sunshine, exercise, passion, whole-foods, and relationships) He speaks about the gut brain connection and the science behind that. Depression is prevalent in the Arctic, more so than other areas. It’s important to take care of our health far beyond just nutrition. Build a solid foundation by meeting your bodies physical, mental, emotional, and spiritual needs. This is a good article for those who want to fix their lives naturally and avoid being a prisoner of a pill.
Depression is common and most of us know someone who is suffering from depression. You might even have some level of depression yourself.
Something that science is getting into that is very promising is showing the gut-brain connection. We know that when our gut is imbalanced, it’s literally throwing off chemical reactions in our brains. Most people don’t know this, but we have neurons that exist in the digestive system, and as we throw the digestive system off, these gut bacteria that are producing very specific nutrients and hormones are affecting the brain in a very specific way.
Oats have been implicated as an antidepressant type of food. There are things like walnuts & fresh ground flax that are the highest source of plant-based Omega-3s that support brain function and enhance cognitive function. But really I want to look at it from a holistic perspective.
You see, when we look at the longest-lived cultures all around the planet, we discover that these people are very happy most of their lives, even in old age. When scientists studied the longest-lived cultures on the planet, there are different areas of their lifestyles that they look at. Things like the quality of the air they breathe, the quality of water they drink, and the amount of sunshine they get (we all know vitamin D is an antidepressant).
These people are out in the sun and they’re walking every day. The simple act of just walking for 45-60 mins every day balances out the brain. It’s the walking that actually activates the digestive system every morning so that we can eliminate properly and the gut isn’t getting backed up with excess toxins. For thousands of years, veggies were used to strengthen the body, and fruits were used to enliven, invigorate, and add joy.
These are the types of things I like to teach as a holistic approach to eliminating depression for good, and I don’t believe there’s a simple answer. I believe there are a plethora of things we need to bring about in our lifestyle, even looking at things we’re passionate about, and our relationships w/ other people, and it literally is a holistic approach.

What is the connection between Chena Hot Springs and the Lymphatic System? Hot and Cold therapy of course!
The Lymphatic System is responsible for cleansing our muscles, tissues and organs and carrying out the metabolic waste that runs through our body. Metabolic waste in the Lymphatic system consist of water, glucose, salts, proteins, fats, white blood cells and other cellular debris.
The lymph, unlike other systems of our body, does not have an internal pump or drain. Lymph moves through our body because of movement, when we are stagnant so is our lymph. This means that movement of our bodies is critical to healthy lymph.
Dry brushing, body scrubs, body wraps, cupping, and hot/cold therepy help to get the lymphatic system moving.
Hot water will dilate blood vessels and cold water (air/snow) will constrict them so alternating back and forth between two extreme temperatures will act as a pump in the body to move the lymph through the lymphatic system which ultimately
keeps you feeling happy and healthy. Next time you go to the hot springs, be sure to go on a really cold winter day and alternate between being really hot, and really cold. Take a roll in the snow and get back into the hot mineral water.
It’s good for your health!
Plant based meal prep. Home made hummus, quinoa, a variety of vegetables and beans, and finally dinner! Lettuce wrap with hummus, sweet potato, quinoa, black beans, and tomato. I’ve been on juice after my water fast, but I’m going to eat this wrap. It’s delicious!

A few years ago I had some routine blood tests done that revealed some concerning values in my liver. Instead of going down the path of medication and recommended medical procedures, I started doing some of my own research. I changed my diet and reviewed my emotional well-being. I studied about fasting and the healing that can heal through the process. I stumbled across Don and Tyler Tolman and eventually invested in my health through Tyler Tolman”s educational programs. It was an investment for my health and the health of my family. My liver values are now fine without ever taking medication. Through this process I have seen people completely change their lives and their health independently of the medical system. I’d like to help others as well as those close to me.
