invites you to brake the myths!
Myth No. 4: There is no pay gap.
Statistics show that in most of the countries there is a gender pay gap. Men are often converged into sectors with higher levels of salary (e.g. fi nance) and women into the sectors that have low-paying jobs (e.g. schools, kindergartens, stores). There are more men work on leading positions because women are not promoted as often as men. The labour market can also include discrimination based on gender because men and women working in the same positions do not receive equal remuneration.

We hosted Ms. Anna Aristotelous at our University a few days ago as the keynote speaker at our multiplier event "Breaking the glass ceiling". All attendees were inspired by her hard-work, dedication, team-spirit and self-sacrifice to make radical changes and lead by example. We admired her outstanding work in Cyprus central prisons that came under the spotlight globally for their different approach to treating inmates.

The central prisons have improved impressively over recent years after a series of reforms led by Anna Aristotelous. We respect and admire what Anna has put forward because she has a lot to offer as a person, as a professional and as a woman. Anna we stand by you, keep leading with your example

Uspešen zaključek končnega multiplikativnega dogodka projekta FeSTEM "Razbijanje steklenega stropa” (Breaking the glass ceiling)
