www.ourheartskickformegan.org Willl go through PT and OT again through RIC for intense therapy 3 hours 3 days a week.
Megan has undergone multiple Brain Surgeries in the last 1 1/2 years, has had to have multiple Cerbral Angiograms which those will continue to be done until she is 18, everytime they perform this it worsens the headaches and she has to work hard to keep the use of her rightside and harder afterwards. She fatigues quickly as her little body is working very hard to get back to where she was before this devastating turn in her life that took place April 10, 2010.

12 years ago I never through I would see this moment, but God is good and Megan is strong and never let anything stop her💪🏻 she did it!! Could not be more proud of her and her accomplishments class of 2020. Starting college in a few months will be working toward a degree in Special Education. During high school her tower class inspired her while working with the special needs kids who she adored and cherished every moment of!!! So excited to see what her next chapter brings❤️❤️. Reach for the highest star rise above challenges and don’t look back you got this kiddo!!!!

Got the best news today after Meg’s Angiogram! Dr Farhat said the AVM is 100% gone the best news I have heard in a long time🙏🙏 just need to watch her over the next 24 hours for no signs of bleeding with going through the main artery so far all good thank you GOD🙏🙏🙏. Now just need to make the neurologist appointment to get the migraines under control and the ortho for the hip and therapy for the right side. Long day today but positive outcome what a blessing. Will see Dr Farhat in 2 weeks then Dr Nikas in March to see Dr Nikas about the bone. Got to see my favorite nurse from PICU Jenna who always put a smile on my face and did again today. Without Dr Nikas, Laura and Jenna Meg would not be here and where she is today which there are not enough words of gratitude for. Life is good. Thanks everyone for your continued support and love ❤️ 🙏

So Megs got to have another Cerbral Angiogram not happy but must be done scheduled for Feb 27th fingers crossed for positive results. After that then neurologist for headaches and ortho for the hip oh boy does it ever end😞. I know grandpa and Jackie will be watching over her every step of the way🙏🙏. I hope the bone did not shift or the mesh under give any but the divot does not look good in my eyes but do not want anymore surgeries that are unneeded. Dr appt for clearance for the angio plus blood work Megs favorite not poor kid. Her strength and will inspires me always. Love her to the moon and back x infinity 🙏❤️👼🏼she is just such a strong beautiful girl from the inside out.

Wow can’t believe 8 yrs ago I had the unknown feeling of what how or where Meg was going to be and these amazing friends who held me up through out!!! Great picture😇😇🙏🙏❤️❤️
