I was lucky enough to see Bowie once. It was the tour for Let's Dance. Not many artists will have an impact like Bowie. Thank you for always striving for great things.
I'm not very active on here due to FB not showing posts to those that follow unless you pay to boost the post. Such a racket. Anyways, hope you are all doing ok. New music coming.

First review of The Ocean Greys EP! I was very fortunate that a new fan also happens to be a really good writer. Here is the review from his blog. There is also a link in the comments to a recent article he wrote that is really great. It's short, don't panic.

Sailing on a queasy sea with The Ocean Greys Whether it's music, visual art or writing, the only thing harder than making art is finding an audience for it, especially if you are going about it independently. I've fired many a shot in the dark, hoping I'd hit an avid reader's eyeballs and get a positive response. Despite the
Bio
At the helm of The Ocean Greys is songwriter and producer Pete Pagonis. The EP was recorded at his home while hunkered down during covid. The Ocean Greys is my musical sensibility and expression of my battles with depression and the struggle to find some peace.
From a very young age music had been my everything. Too much so. I thought it was a blessing to know exactly what I wanted to do with my life. But the struggle of trying to make a living as a musician began to poison the joy. I walked away from music after hitting my final emotional wall. Through a series of events and a seven year complete severe of anything to do with being a musician. I found my way back. Now as much as my brain tells me to do it for the love of the making the music. Your soul is seeking validation for that music you create.
It has never been about becoming rich and famous. Problem for me and I think many artists is. When is that validation enough? That is the scary part. Will it ever be? Can that void be filled? This is what most of the lyrics and moods are about on this ep. I hope it moves people in a way that music moves me. But I like things a bit dark and melancholic.
I played all the instruments on this ep with the exception of drums on the song "Something's Coming Round". The vocalist on the ep is Carlee Jackson. Who I found by placing an ad on craiglist. We did everything via the internet, including me being on the phone while she recorded the vocals. I'm a lucky to have found her.
