Next year’s 7th and 8th grade students if you are interested in taking STEM as your science core for the school year 2024-2025 get your application filled out and returned before February 28th!

2023 CO2 Car Races
Congratulations to Lily & Eastyn!
Thank you to Duncan Area Economic Development Foundation for hosting the races.
Our students represented our Technology Student Association chapter today at the Fall Leadership conference. They were able to listen to individuals working in various fields such as the OSBI, listen to 2023 inventor of the year , participate in OSU STEM challenge (they were the challenge winners 🎉) and a NASA Artemis Mission workshop. .ok

STEM kids rocked at the safety test today! Super excited for those kids that joined the 100’s club today! Second and final rounds will be next week so everyone can prove they know their safety rules and can be 100% safe 100% of the time.
Hoping these kiddos have the best school year yet. Miss these awesome humans but we’re excited to welcome new students in our classrooms for another year of DMS STEM!

Roller Coaster Engineers hard at work. 6th graders had lots of challenges designing working SAFE roller coasters but just as expected they knocked it out of the park.
STEM Projects are going strong…. 7th graders learning about parts of the brain & 8th graders working with electrical circuits & sheds.
Can you assemble an aircraft blind folded?! ✈️
8th grade students were challenged to help a blindfolded teammate assemble an aircraft while only being able to use the terms yaw, pitch, roll, left/right, up/down or the name of the aircraft part.
7th graders at DRH learning how to suture.
6th graders training to be chemical engineers tried to solve which glue they created worked best on various substrates. Glue strength and student strength were equally tested.

Race day finally arrived and these 8th grade students battled it out for first place!
They all built incredible racing machines.
Squid Wardens earned first place with Monse close behind and then Team Imagine Losing claimed third!
