Come enjoy a special viewing of the "Shades of Blue" antique quilt and coverlet show this Sunday, November 5 from 11 am to 3 pm in the Old School Baptist Meeting House, 25 High Street, Warwick.
Curated by Ms. Sharon Waddell and Mr. Niel DeMarino, Shades of Blue is a stunning display of artistic craftsmanship and history.
We are so excited to welcome Ms. Waddell on site at the exhibit, along with WHS volunteers to show the exhibit and the historic building.
Even more beautiful in person, "Shades of Blue" is a vibrant yet serene display of dozens of quilts dating back 150+ years. Photographs are permitted.

There are dozens of gorgeous quilts and coverlets spanning 150+ years adorning the pews and draped from the balcony of the beautiful church.
This incredible exhibit was expertly curated by Ms. Sharon Waddell and Mr. Niel DeMarino, with pieces from their personal collections and a few from the Warwick Historical Society's collection.

***BIG SHOW ANNOUNCEMENT****
After 32 years, and the designation of “longest running quilt show in Lancaster, PA”, we have made the difficult decision to move our quilt show to Lebanon, PA. We hope you will all make the short trip (23 miles!) down the road to join us April 10-13, 2024. We did not make this decision lightly as we cherish our years in Lancaster, and have worked hard to build a show here. As always, we strive to be honest and open. While we wish we could have continued the show in Lancaster, the landscape of event space rentals has changed greatly in the last few years. In order to bring you a great show, with lots of space, somewhere easy to travel to- AND be able to continue to offer free admission and free parking- there was no place in Lancaster that would work. While we enjoyed being at the Wyndham Host Resort this year, we needed more space, and we did not have the opportunity for growth there. Costs would have continued to outpace our revenue. At the end of the day, our goal is to bring an event to quilters that is considerate of their time and money. We want you to be able to join us without having to spend a lot of money, that is better spent on quilting supplies!
We travelled down to the Lebanon Valley Expo Center this last weekend and are so excited about bringing the show there. It is a large, spacious, facility, with ample free parking. Vendors, quilts and classes will be under one roof. As always, we listened to the feedback from our customers and this new facility will allow for wider aisles, and many MANY more quilts in the quilt exhibits. The Expo Center has an onsite caterer who will be serving a wide variety of affordable food options. We will have space for more classes and lectures. We are happy to be able to include local quilt guilds in the show and look forward to welcoming all our customers to Lebanon.
Lebanon is very close off of the Turnpike, and easily accessible for bus groups as well as individuals. In the coming months we will be updating our website with local hotel info. Moving out of the Lancaster area will also provide our visitors with lower cost hotel options.
We know there have been a lot of changes over the last few years with location and dates. Hopefully, Lebanon will sustain our show for years to come. We strongly feel that this is a location we can grow with. Our quilters mean so much to us, and it is our hope that you all will follow us there. Please share this with your guilds and quilting friends. It is important that we get the word out about this move!
Most importantly…we find ourselves needing a name change! For the moment we will be known as the “Lancaster-Lebanon Quilt Show” to avoid too much confusion. Thank you to all our attendees and vendors, past and present, for helping us to make this show a success!
