Come out of the cocoon. Step out from seclusion.

You have endured a long season of barrenness and hiddenness. Now it’s time to re-emerge and step into the new assignment that the Lord is placing before you.

Slowly and subtly, a lot has changed. A transition, a metamorphosis, has taken place. You have been shedding old skin, letting go of imposter identities, and removing hindering habits.

The Lord has done a deep work within you. He has dealt with destructive desires and deepened your devotion.

You have often felt dry and empty, weary and worn out. Yet, you have also had a deep sense that the Holy Spirit has been at work. Like spiritual surgery, it has been painful, but very necessary.

You have new spiritual eyes.

You will perceive things very differently. You will see beyond the superficial and shallow.

Things that you once grasped for will hold little appeal. You will no longer be so easily influenced by those around you. You are secure in your identity. You know who you are and Whose you are.

You are going to advance quickly into new territory and take ground.

Detractors and distractions won’t slow you down.

Adversity and adversaries can’t contain you.

You have been prepared in the wilderness.

Now it’s time to step into your inheritance.

You have been equipped in the barrenness.

Now it’s time to receive of His abundance.

This is a new season.

Step forward in faith and take hold of everything the Father is placing before you.

God Has Been Developing You in the Darkroom.

I believe God has had many of His people in what seemed like a darkroom. It has felt as if you were hidden, but you were actually being developed.

You might even have thought you were being punished, but in reality, you were being prepared.

It seemed as if God was moving too slowly or things were taking too long. Others who started after you appear to have progressed much faster.

God has a long-term plan for you. Therefore, He will take as long as it requires to develop and prepare you.

He is not looking for more people to parade across a platform. He’s seeking men and women who have been crushed so that what’s inside of them can flow out into the world around them.

He doesn’t just want you to be more gifted – He wants you to be anointed. Gifting impresses people. The anointing breaks the yoke of oppression from people.

When hidden, you had assumed that you were buried, but actually you were planted.

Don’t despise the darkroom or try to fast-track the development of the Father in your life.

Await His perfect timing. Trust the process. You will soon see that God has been doing more than you could ever have imagined.
