US grabs Venezuela President's plane.
The United States has seized Venezuela President Nicolas Maduro’s airplane after determining that its acquisition was in violation of US sanctions.
US Officials: “This sends a message all the way up to the top. Seizing the foreign head of state’s plane is unheard-of for criminal matters. We’re sending a clear message here that no one is above the law, no one is above the reach of US sanctions.”
The plane has been described by officials as Venezuela’s equivalent to Air Force One and it has been pictured in previous state visits by Maduro around the world.
Essentially the US decided that it can take a plane of another country, because it’s the US and the other country has to obey.

COVID-19 rules were hot air - Fauci confesses
Dr. Anthony Fauci confesses he 'made up' covid rules including 6 feet social distancing and masking kids as reported by Daily Mail
Speaking to counsel on behalf of the House Select Subcommittee on the Coronavirus Pandemic earlier this year, Fauci told Republicans that the six foot social distancing rule 'sort of just appeared' and that he did not recall how it came about.
'You know, I don't recall. It sort of just appeared,' he said according to committee transcripts when pressed on how the rule came about.
He added he 'was not aware of studies' that supported the social distancing, conceding that such studies 'would be very difficult' to do.
In addition to not recalling any evidence supporting social distancing, Fauci also told the committee's counsel that he didn't remember reading anything to support that masking kids would prevent COVID.
'Do you recall reviewing any studies or data supporting masking for children?' he was asked.
'I might have,' he responded before adding 'but I don't recall specifically that I did.'

China Warns US Over Taiwan Visits and One-China Policy
In recent statements, China has issued a stern warning to the United States, urging an end to all visits to Taiwan and adherence to the One-China policy. Beijing's stance comes amid growing tensions and increased military activity around the self-governing island.
The Chinese Ministry of Foreign Affairs spokesperson, Wang Wenbin, emphasized that any consequences arising from congressional visits to Taiwan will be borne by the United States. This follows a series of actions and statements from Beijing that reflect its long-standing claim over Taiwan and opposition to U.S. interactions with Taiwan authorities.
China's warning is part of a broader pattern of responses to U.S. actions concerning Taiwan. Previous interactions, such as House Speaker Nancy Pelosi's planned visit to Taiwan in 2022, have drawn similar rebukes from Beijing, indicating a consistent stance against perceived interference in its internal affairs.
The One-China policy, which the U.S. acknowledges, states that there is only one China and that Taiwan is part of China. However, the U.S. maintains a "robust unofficial relationship" with Taiwan, including arms sales to support its defense capabilities, which has been a point of contention with China.
Recent U.S. congressional visits to Taiwan have increased in frequency, further straining U.S.-China relations. China has responded to these visits with military exercises and diplomatic warnings, underlining its commitment to reunifying Taiwan with the mainland, by force if necessary.
The situation is further complicated by the U.S.'s obligations under the Taiwan Relations Act, which requires providing Taiwan with sufficient military hardware and technology to deter invasion. This has led to continued arms sales to Taiwan, which China vehemently opposes.
As tensions continue to rise, the international community watches closely. The U.S. and China's ability to navigate this sensitive issue will not only impact their bilateral relations but also have significant implications for regional and global stability.
In conclusion, China's recent warnings to the United States reflect its unwavering stance on Taiwan and its determination to enforce the One-China policy. As both countries navigate this complex issue, the international community hopes for diplomacy and dialogue to prevail over conflict.
China warns United States to end all visits to Taiwan and adhere to the One-China policy, or be ready to face the consequences.
West prolonging Ukraine’s suffering – former top NATO top official
The West is portraying the Ukraine conflict as a fight for freedom, but prefers to turn a blind eye to Kiev’s horrific battlefield losses, a former Chairman of the NATO Military Committee, Harald Kujat, has said.
According to Kujat, the West “completely ignores” this fact. “We only talk about Russia’s alleged losses. But we don’t talk about the losses of those who are supposedly fighting for us. This is extremely cynical.” On the contrary, the West “does not even try to limit the casualties and damage,” prolonging the conflict by pumping Ukraine with weapons, Kujat said. “We extend the suffering of the people, we increase the destruction.”

‘Unrealistic’ for EU to have own nuclear arsenal, Brussels has ‘no intention’ to pursue this – Olaf Scholz
Secretary of State Anthony Blinken has directed his top leadership to crack down on leaks about diplomacy related to the Israel-Hamas war, making clear that he is “angry” at a steady stream of press reports revealing sensitive information
The press reports included not only classified material, he rebuked the state leadership at a small command meeting earlier this month, but also fresh proposals to broker a cease-fire and release hostages held by Hamas. The leaks, he said, further complicated complex negotiations and undermined confidence at the State Department that documents or details of private conversations would not reach a reporter.
In the meeting, Blinken urged those who report directly to him to help plug the leaks, particularly those related to the conflict in Gaza, according to three State Department officials. One of the State officials, granted anonymity to detail yet another private discussion, said Blinken's message has since been sternly delivered throughout the department.
