Benefits of Mobility on Weightlifting🤸

Hey fitness enthusiasts! 💪🏋️‍♀️ Are you looking to take your weightlifting game to the next level? Don't forget about the importance of mobility! 🙌

Having good mobility means having the ability to move your body through a full range of motion, which is crucial for weightlifting. Here are some benefits of having good mobility:

🔹 Increased flexibility: Being flexible helps you achieve proper form and technique while lifting, reducing the risk of injury.

🔹 Improved range of motion: With good mobility, you can move through a full range of motion, increasing the effectiveness of each rep and improving overall performance.

🔹 Enhanced muscle activation: When you have better mobility, you can activate more muscles during each lift, leading to greater gains in strength and size.

So, if you're serious about weightlifting, don't forget to incorporate mobility exercises into your routine. Whether it's stretching, foam rolling, or mobility drills, taking care of your body will pay off in the long run. 💪🙌

End of the week which only means one thing, Hollywood muscle training time!
Rather brutal but totally worth it.

It's Monday again! And now we start our new training split. Today's focus is going to be hinge and pull. This workout is going to help us develop a bulletproof posterior chain whilst also developing some t shirt bulging functional muscles.

As before, perform all A-B-C movements as a superset (one exercise straight into the other) once you've completed the final letter move back to A after sufficient rest.

For the conditioning part of the workout we start off with a 200m row at around 85% max effort followed by KB Swings, single arm KB deadlifts, and then horn curl to press.
You can use the same weight for the KB for all the movements or really push yourself and find a heavier one for the Swings and Deadlift.

Good luck with this one and stay tunes for Wednesdays workout!

Any issues comment below.

No better words.
Often as a PT I hear my clients bring themselevs down when they didn't hit their new PB, they didn't lose a pound that week, or they couldn't do that extra pull up.

This can be very demotivating for them (happens to myself from time tine), but what I do to get them back, is show them their first ever session with me, look at the weights they were lifting, look at the before photos, and explain to them how F**kin hard they've worked to get to where they are now.

YOU SHOULD BE PROUD EVERYTIME YOU STEP THROUGH THE DOOR TO THE GYM

EVERYTIME YOU STEP OUTSIDE YOUR FRONT DOOR FOR A WALK OR RUN

EVERYTIME YOU CHOSE A HOME COOKED MEAL OVER A TAKEAWAY.

Now go and own your weekend, hit the gym, go for a run, spend time with loved ones, and be the best you can.

A day late but its here to try out. This one is going to be brutal but, totally worth it.

Heavy compound session with focus on knee extension based movements with a killer ladder style conditioning phase at the end.

Give this a go at some point this weekend. Or try out Mondays Wednesdays and Fridays workout next week.

More workouts to follow soon...

Are you currently fed up of the way your train? Are you looking for something that will not only make you look good, but also feel good and move well at the same time?

Then give this session a go. Instead of sticking to the traditional "Bro Split" routine, try this "movement split" routine instead.

How to read routine:

A+B+C are performed as supersets with minimal rest between exercises. Take 60-90s rest after 1 complete set, aim for a minimum of 3 rounds.

Conditioning Phase:

Inspired by the Crossfit community the conditioning phase pairs High intensity cardio with strength and body weight exercises performed in a circuit. Pick a weight that's around 80% of your max effort for that rep target.

Complete all exercises in order with a period of rest after the final exercise, around 60s, and then repeat.

New workout will be posted Wednesday👀

Feel free to save the workout and give it a go yourself. Let me know how you get on! A video will be coming soon...

big thanks to for the design work.
