The 2024 Chairman's Challenge is launched!!

Get your hiking boots on and join us for the National Three Peaks Challenge on 31st August / 1st September. We will be fundraising for 2 amazing charities, Crohn's & Colitis UK & East Anglian Air Ambulance Charity. Over the next few weeks whilst we finalise the details we will launch a fundraising page for anyone that wishes to donate. For now, if you're keen to take on the challenge let us know!

On Thursday evening we took a trip to Four Acres Estate in Little Hadham to learn about how they make their wine. Of course we sampled them all - they were all delicious!

Tickets are funded through the How Farming Can Cool the Planet project, which NFYFC is a joint partner of with Organising for Sustainability UK and Youth FLAME.

We’ve been a bit quiet on here recently but rest assured we have been very busy!

We were joined by Tom, an ambassador for Farm Safety Foundation - Yellow Wellies for a presentation which promoted lots of discussion!

We hosted the County Quiz at Cottered Village Hall and raised £350 for the RABI! Fish & Chips was provided by The Buntingford Fryery and it was DELICIOUS 😋

Last Thursday we worked on some Club Rally Entries for Hertfordshire YFC Rally 2024 and built our bar in preparation for Hertfordshire YFC Rally Afterparty

Finally, on Saturday we joined the rest of the county at Icknield Farm, Tring for a County Stockjudging Day kindly hosted by the Cornthwaite Family. It was a very enjoyable day and the weather held off too!

Senior & Associate members are invited to join us for a 2 course meal beforehand at the Golf Club at 6:30pm. This will be Sausage & Mash followed by Profiteroles. The cost for this will be £20 per head, payable on the night.

Any late meal choices for our Christmas Meal MUST be submitted to Ellie today!!

Thank you to L.S Saddlery for hosting us this evening and helping us to make our very own belts, dog collars, and leads. A very interesting meeting and chance to learn lots of new skills!
