Our queen Lisa cried only once from the ages 5 to 15, very much only dry eyes in the house for her!

Next up are our Company Directors, Marley and Evan!

Marley knows over 104 digits of pi, ask her to recite them next time you see her! And Evan has an extra bone in his knee so ask him to see that if for some reason you feel the need to.

Time to meet our resident Spring Sing blondes/Celebrity Engagement Directors Nikki and Charlotte!

And Nikki is a twin👫

Now we have our lovely talent directors who are responsible for building our incredible lineup!

Adam knows the capitals of most of the countries of the world! Emphasis on most.

Jeffrey was born on 8/11 in the hospital room 11 and weighed a whopping 8lbs and 11oz! Talk about a lucky number

Finally, our bright eyed Hope skipped the second grade and is the smartest person at UCLA! Hope is also a comm major.

Next we have our beautiful AD Emily! She keeps the morale and energy high, but something she can’t keep down is licorice. Emily has thrown up from overeating licorice not once, but twice in her life.

We are thrilled to announce Hans Zimmer as the Spring Sing 2022 George and Ira Gershwin Award recipient!

Zimmer is the talent behind the music for movies such as Interstellar, Dune, Inception and many more. In 1988, UCLA Student Alumni Association established the annual award for lifetime musical achievement in recognition of George and Ira Gershwin's contributions to American music and in honor of their gift to UCLA. Hans Zimmer will accept the 2022 GIG award this Friday at Spring Sing in the L.A. Tennis Center. Congratulations!

Coming to you live from rehearsals with our FINAL talent spotlight: !!!

Cirque de ‘LA is UCLA’s first and only official circus arts group, founded in 2018. Two of Cirque de ‘LA’s earliest members, Katie and Johnny, work together as a duo act on aerial silks, combining artistry and athleticism to show UCLA the world of circus arts.

Next up: Painted Ladies!

Singers, storytellers, groovers, and friends, Painted Ladies makes their debut performance at Spring Sing 2022 in celebration of their final year at UCLA. The group was originally brought together by Sophie, who recognized a shared passion for music and performance among friends Addison, Amy, and Jeilani. The group marries Appalachian instrumentals with a contemporary folk-rock sound to rewrite the narrative of girl groups and heartbreakers alike.

Rounding out the first of our final talent highlights, we have Silva!

The band Silva, led by Emily Silva, is a ragtag team of friends or rather “familia” who met studying Jazz at UCLA. Their music explores fun fusion genres and groovy rhythms with the intention to create a perfect storm of funky and fresh. They hope their song makes you wanna move your feet, and inspires you to make a difference the world!

Introducing our next talent act, Zeinah!

Zeinah is a singer-songwriter who has played guitar for 8 years, and sings like she breathes. Authenticity is of the utmost importance to her, as a person and an artist. The act of writing often serves as an emotional release, and she strives to strike a balance between vulnerability and relatability in her music. Kailynn gives frequent vocal performances in the shower and occasional ones on stage, and is lending her melodic voice to this performance as a background vocalist.

Naya Zamaana is UCLA's Premier South Asian a ca****la team. The team was created in 2006 to celebrate the diversity of talent among South Asian American youth. Their singers come from a variety of musical backgrounds and NZ aspires to exemplify the distinct fusion of Western and Indian culture.
