Soul to Soul was formed in the beginning of 2010 to commemorate the 20 years since the passing of one of the worlds greatest guitar players, Stevie Ray Vaughan. As you know, August 27th 1990 was the date of the tragic helicopter accident that sadly took his life. They know how many people still love and miss his music. One of my pride and joy moments. Jimmie signed this poster at the pre unveiling party before the first night at The Grammy museum in L.A. He is such a great guy. I am so grateful that he shared Stevie's things and memories with me and all the people that night. I am always thankful for my friends Buddy Dughi and Suzy Dughi for asking Jimmie if it was okay for me to tag along with them. I also got to meet Jimmie's wife and daughters. Such a nice family. I'll never forget talking to his oldest daughter Tina. She was in tears looking at all of her uncles stuff. As I was talking to her the resemblance of Stevie grew more and more uncanning, except way prettier( sorry Stevie:)Then I even got to meet Lenny! Another incredibly nice lady. I thought maybe they wouldn't take to kindly of me being that my band and I do a tribute to SRV but to the contrary, they couldn't have been any more kind. Anyway stay tuned as we are working on some good shows this summer! One being a headliner at The San Clemente Beach Fest on July 15th! So save that date! Take care and be kind to one another!
