AI in Heart Disease: See it before it happens
Webinar - April 24, 2024 (16:00 UTC/GMT)
Digital selfcare intervention in combination with timely diagnosis of heart failure may have a profound impact on the status quo of timely and manageable care cycles. Timely identification of the aetiology of heart failure may give answers to the causation of heart failure. What the world needs is smarter screening of patients, which is predictive, with less false positives and less false negatives. Measuring the health outcomes for patients, ahead of time.
We need to reimagine what the role is of costs of a prevention path as a benchmark. It is an old saying that prevention is better than curation. To stay relevant our plan for the next ten years should encompass timely identification. AI gives us the power to expand excellent technologies across geographies.

The Effects of Angiotensin Receptor-Neprilysin Inhibition on Major Coronary Events in Patients With Acute Myocardial Infarction: Insights From the PARADISE-MI Trial
https://www.ahajournals.org/doi/abs/10.1161/CIRCULATIONAHA.122.060841
In survivors of an AMI with left ventricular systolic dysfunction and pulmonary congestion, sacubitril/valsartan—compared with ramipril—reduced the risk of a prespecified major coronary composite outcome. Dedicated studies are necessary to confirm this finding and elucidate its mechanism.
