T.S. Beier is the author of Top 5 Category Finalist (Kindle Book Awards) What Branches Grow, a post-
I haven't been posting for a while (sorry!) but just wanted to share that my first book, What Branches Grow, is now on Audible! The narrator did a fantastic job bringing the characters to life and I couldn't be happier with it. If you want some wasteland in your life over the holidays, check it out!
If you liked What Branches Grow, check out the Kickstarter for Through the Aftermath, a post-apocalyptic themed anthology coming out in March! Not only is a story included by little old me, but far bigger authors like Kyla Stone have contributed!
The cool thing about the anthology being on Kickstarter is that if you pledge $20, you get the paperback, the ebook, and your name in the book in the acknowledgments!
The cover is also gorgeous - it was created using A.I. art and I can't wait to hold a copy.
Through the Aftermath: An Apocalyptic Anthology Nineteen authors collaborate to create a short story anthology that covers everything from zombies to space rabbits.
I'm a huge Predator fan and I can attest that the Predator: Prey movie is AWESOME. You can read my non-spoiler review here, but if you like the previous movies, you should really check out the new one!
Predator: Prey is an Exhilarating and Elegant Glow-up of the Franchise Predator: Prey asks: can you balance horror thriller with thematic resonance?

Sorry, I've been MIA! I've been busy and my kids have been sick (they're all better now). Coming up on Saturday is my review of JURASSIC WORLD DOMINION, but for now, here's Alone Season 9, Episode 2 from earlier in the week.

A show I wholly enjoy but also have a BIT issue of an issue with when it comes to how women's bodies are represented.

Will Love Death + Robots Season 3 Have More Post-Apocalyptic Episodes? Here's hoping the third season has more post-apocalyptic episodes (and more episodes directed by women).
I love this show! Anyone else? I recommend starting with season 2, actually, as I found season 1 had some real growing pains, though it has its moments.

Snowpiercer Season 3, Finale: Recap and Review Who takes control of Snowpiercer and who ends up in the great trainyard in the sky?
It's book three of the Burnt Ship trilogy! Dead in the Water is available on Amazon (print, kindle, and Kindle Unlimited)*. Writing a trilogy was an adventure in itself and quite the experience.
Next up is a bit of a break (I say this, but it's probably going to last all of a week) before my next project, which is a ghost story!
Thank you to everyone who has read the books and left reviews! 🥰

The Expanse tv series is done! While the last episode had some awesome fight scenes, it also has some annoying loose ends. Usually I'm "that person" who has read the book before the show/movie but in this case I haven't (aside from Leviathan's Wake years ago) but I plan on reading books 7-10 soon! So DON'T go and tell me such and such is resolved in book 8 etc etc. 🙂

What books are you most excited for in 2022? Do you set a reading goal?
I'm currently reading an ARC (advance reader copy) of Azura Ghost by Essa Hansen (the sequel to Nophek Gloss) but I have so many other books I can't wait to get to as well! 📚
One of my new year resolutions is to post on my author fb more, so here's my most recent article about The Expanse (spoilers!)

The Expanse Season 6, Episode 4: Recap and Review "Lived shamed, and die empty."
Check it out! It’s another book written by me!
It’s definitely lighter in tone than the last one and has quite a few moments of my quirky humour. It’s like Guardians of the Galaxy meets Alien and is a fun, fast, and funny space opera with five alien species, two human space marines, and a whole whack load of action and ship battles. It’s bursting with diversity and gives you the found family feels. There’s a forbidden romance too! If you’re interested, here is the link!
