Happy Birthday To Us!! Alpha Delta Kappa Gamma! 85 years! To celebrate we had a birthday party with head gear, party blowers, photo opps, delicious beautiful cake, candy molds of roses, and scrumptious food from our hostesses! We reminisced down memory lane by talking about how many years we have all been members!! Great fun and great laughs!!

We made the state’s page today!! Really cool. Loved seeing this! Happy 85th to us in Alpha Chapter. Wish we had realized. We could have celebrated today.

Throwback Thursday to 10 years ago when Alpha Chapter was celebrating its 75th birthday!

Sue Hull and Jackie Phillips attended the Ella Reese Seminar this week. It was an amazing leadership conference!

Erin Haney received the Alpha DKG 2022 Recruitment Grant during EHS’s Honors Night! Amanda Roberson presented the award. So excited for Erin as she plans to get a degree in Education.

I could not have pulled off the meeting today with you all! I truly appreciate you all helping so much!!!

Christmas Giving Tea is my Favorite Time for DKG! This year A*O President Sue Cook drove a long way to enjoy our special time together.

And I must say we are Mighty Givers!! After being asked to shop for extra Angels we really stepped up and donated big time for our Elves to shop next week! Please give if you haven’t already!

We also collected so many canned pantry food items for the Interfaith Food Pantry! It took multiple trips to load the car. I am so thankful that we give to this organization at every meeting! It makes me feel good inside!!

The Alpha Chapter would like to welcome our newest members, Carie Adams, Sandy Gross, April Malone, Dee Moss, and Aprile Richardson. They were inducted during the September meeting.

4 years ago today we honored Mrs. Elsie as a recipient of The Rose at state A*O Convention!! Such an honor to be a pet of!! Miss her so!!

And we laughed all weekend!!! Great trip and memories!!

I really enjoy our DKG Publications. Looking forward to reading it!! Pandemic lessons learned!

Christmas Giving Tea 2020

Great get together!! I so wish I had pictures of Escaping the Naughty List fun activity!! Ugh!! I only got pictures of the food-which is very important!!!

The winners escaping Santa’s Naughty List were Sarah Huddleston, Kaci Travis, and Amanda Roberson -good job ladies. The rest of us are still on Santa’s Naughty list!

PS- the food was amazing (if I say so myself!)

DKG members held their first meeting of the new year at Hugh Goodwin Elementary. Outgoing President Jackie Phillips was honored for her years of service and passed on the title to Nanette Darden, who received her president's pin. Comment below to congratulate them!

Great to see everyone after a two month break! Quilting Guilds was very informative! Food was delicious! And best of all we initiated/inducted 4 new members (Kimberly Newman, Jamie Lowe, Lauren Cross, and Jennifer McGehee) and welcomed one rejoining member (Amanda Roberson)! Awesome DKG Day with our Heart to Heart Campaign month!

So glad Mary Beth and Sharon got a picture delivering the gifts today!!! Love this!! Every year better and better!!
