Quickie: Nate is a bossy snowboarder with all the right moves, and Adam is a flustered newbie to kink who can’t turn off his brain. There is also inappropriate use of a Santa suit. 😅
I absolutely adored Adam because he was the more relatable one for me. I loved how in his head he was, but he also wasn’t afraid to ask questions. It was an interesting perspective — being seen as a follower, not a leader at work, and how that is completely okay in the bedroom, but then questioning whether that is the case in all aspects of life.
I think the second novella, Spanked by Santa, was my favorite. We get the forced proximity trope, but I really appreciated the more nuanced conversation around consent and the use of safe words.
The third novella focuses more on the use of s*x toys and the possibilities of a poly relationship. This one was way out of my comfort zone, but I’m here for it.
Overall, this was a short and spicy series that went from a one-night-stand to a happy-for-now ending! They take place around the winter holidays, but could be read any time of the year. Highly recommend giving them a chance!
