I woke up this morning to see a flyer sent to me by Hon ABIODUN TOBUN tagged Otoge. I boldly dissociate myself and my group from such demeaning flyer spreading within the constituency as this is tantamount to character assassination.

We are peace loving people, I'm running for the betterment of our people with a good mind and purpose of sportsmanship.

We are not involved and we condemned it in totality as this may cause more than war. Politics should not be a do or die affair, we want to be a living hero, not to die for nothing but to die for something important and be remembered for good.

For people living in Epe constituency 01, they will also be deciding who will be representing them at the LAHA by 2023.

This one should grab the headlines because of how significant it will turn out to be. The fact that Hon. Olusegun Agbaje his running to represent the Epe Constituency 01 at the LAHA had added another layer or dimension of excitement to the race. Within the last few years, we have seen that state legislation is not enough to give Epe a serious lift.

Agbaje emergence as the Flag bearer of APC will play a key role as he represents one of the most important areas in Lagos.

Our generation needs a realistic rallying point. We need to begin in community, earn our way into the system and up the ladder. We need someone to stick their neck out and pave the way. The problem is that we’ve always looked to our leaders for change… instead, look in the mirror and look around you. We are the ones we’ve been waiting for all along. It’s incredible what can be achieved with a dream, the willingness to work hard, and the courage to hold on to hope in spite of the odds.

Until the day that we decide as a Constituents, to get involved with the affairs of our Constituency, nothing will EVER really change.

The time has come for us to play our part. We can no longer afford to remain mere spectators. Getting a voter’s card alone is no longer enough; because that does not give you a say in putting up the kind of candidates that you believe in. We must take things one step further by building a new political platform for this generation. One that is not built for selfish interests.. but one that is built of of a shared vision and ideals. One that will put up the right kind of candidates: people with Integrity, the right intentions and the intellectual capacity to lead. People with vision and the ability to execute.

Make no mistake, Epe can get it right again with the emergence of Olusegun Agbaje as our representative at the LAHA, WE ARE a generation in a battle for the soul and direction of our Constituency.

We have been taken advantage of and lied to.. we are tired and disenfranchised. We are frustrated and suspicious. The African traditional drums or foreign drums require a full skin to function properly, any skin that cannot fully cover the drum will tear off thereby rendering the drum useless because of the lack of sound production.

Our drum as Epe Majority has been hidden over the years and we the concerned indigenes and residents of Epe Local Government Constituency are now calling on the people of Epe Local Government Constituency 1 to rise and join us as we spread the new full and thick skin (HON. Olusegun Agbaje ) on the surface of our drum.

Those who thought their own shoulders would hit the sky once they've succeeded in conspiring to shot the doors of other people's destiny close, continues to get disappointed synonymously.

Initially, envy blinded their eyes and overtook morality of fair reasoning and supremacy of destiny in their deposition of affairs.

But fortunately for you, posterity remains adamant in not willing to treat them indifferently. (Ati ju e na baló, ai to na babó).

Even in trying to market itself, genuine product don't lose confidence in its ability to compete favourably with other brands, instead it will subject itself to the challenges and provision of better qualitative service.

SEGUN Omo AGBAJEI, keep going. You're almost there already, bear in mind that the sun is most beautiful as it's going away.

If all you've been waiting for is someone to ignite that motivation in you, then here it is! Go out there & do lots of those spectacular things, that you're already known for!

So many chairmen and fine administrators had come into the local government and gone. Agbaje had his rough patches too but he delivered in all ramifications from infrastructures to social growth and he has not stopped even after he left the government, that is why Ramadan football competition has not stopped, infrastructure provisions still on course, empowerment and education support is still on going and it won't stop because he is passionate about delivering these goodies to our people.

We have four good roads constructed by Agbaje (adebayo odukoya, hassan street, olokodana street and abidekun/shabi), those roads are still there. 27 Boreholes (one in almost all primary schools in Epe, one in the local government, one in maternity centre, one in aiyetoro garage and one in aiyetoro market, one in akeusola, sabo lagbade, kasali oluwo, agric, oluwo market to mention few).

Block of six classrooms in community primary school erepoto, army children primary school, St Theresa Pry sch, LA primary school, ZI pry sch, luyepo, St Michael pry sch and two other pry schools in the riverine and to top it up "the e-library" turned to business centre. "Arise larika"

Segun Agbaje is coming to do more brilliantly. He needs your supports to pull through and deliver the goodies to our people. Your voice counts, lend us your voice for a better Epe to emerge.
