A “Hoofed Locust” is a term that cattlemen use to describe a flock of sheep who closely crop the vegetation when they graze. In other words, they’re a pain in the ass. I chose this name for the boutique in homage of my Irish ancestors who settled in Eastern Oregon as sheep herders and are a huge part of my family history. I wanted the name of this boutique to mean something to me and even more, to be a piece of where I come from.
