One of our jobs this week while dodging the rain (again!) was painting this beautiful house internally. Lots of laughs and great coffee, even left with some free homebrew 😋

Dodging the rain again this week, but we did manage to complete this job. Repaired render, hacked out and repointed the chimney (ferns growing up there!) and two coated the house and garage. The house was previously half painted a year ago.

What an absolutely lovely couple, lots of coffee, cake and chats. Going back later in the year to paint internally and replace the garage windows and door. 👍

Lovely new customer, two coats of All Coat green on all of the fascias etc, the same on the windowsills and plinth. And a fresh coat on the walls of Chalk Hill. 👍 All plastics removed prior to painting and downpipes refitted with new plugs and screws as they hadn't been removed the last two times the house had been painted and it showed.

Another house painted. Two newly rendered walls. Mist coat and two top coats applied. Various fixes to cracks etc on existing walls and new downpipes etc fitted. One delighted new customer and we've been invited back next year for more work. Love it.

Another job knocked off the list. This one was hard work as it was entirely painted with brushes. Another happy regular customer, the property is looking more fresh and modern now.. 😁

Walls are Dove Grey and the plinth and sills are Superhero Grey!

Timed the indoor work perfectly this week. Another fantastic transformation, we had to deal with blu-tack, sticky pads, nails and screws 😁 Sanded, Filled, Primed and two top coats.

We managed to get this one done before the weather changed yet again! Cleaned down and two coated 😁 Cracks filled, render bead replaced and corner re-rendered.

Well I'm back from a great holiday and straight to a regular customer. This was a heavy job ( why can't they make railway sleepers from balsa wood 🤔🤣) Great transformation and even better homemade Welsh cakes and lemon drizzle 😋.

Back to one of our favourite places, reinstating the pop up campsite we took down last year. 3 bell tents, 3 showers/toilet areas and 3 outdoor kitchen areas.

More internal painting this week. Kitchen, utility room and bedroom painted. Ceilings, walls, skirting board, door frames and doors. Another satisfied customer who has asked us back to do more in the winter. 😁

Wow, working on a Sunday! We had to make the most of a dry day to get this massive garden conversion finished. There were 4 patios laid on on top of each other in places and a huge rotten decking area. We filled three 8 yard skips with rubble and earth to level out the garden. Then moved a raised vegetable bed, put down a 15 by 13 concrete slab for a summerhouse, laid 120m² of new patio, built a wooden outdoor area with poly carbonate roof and cut a full length gate in half and re mounted it and left 2 very happy customers. Bring on the summer 😁 Onto the next job 👍

Half-day today before a return trip to Cardiff this afternoon. Never be scared to choose bold colours 😁

Fantastic new customer, we were left the keys and a kettle within 5 minutes of arriving. 😁 Oh, and donuts again 😋

Customer stripped off the wallpaper, we sanded and then repaired the walls, then sanded again before applying one coat of primer and two top coats. 👍

The paint is still wet in the pictures.

Going back to lay laminate flooring in the lounge/diner. 👍

Old patio removed, decking removed, path removed, soil removed, shed moved and new larger Indian Sandstone patio laid ready for socialising in the summer if the sun ever comes out. 😁

What a fabulous change this is. Stripped off the old wallpaper, sanded down the walls, filled cracks, dents, gauges etc and sanded the walls down again. One coat of Zinsser primer plus two coats of Earth Born topcoat. Painted the ceiling as well. batoned the walls and covered with tongue and groove timber and painted with primer ready for the customer to apply a topcoat when they have decided on a colour, 😃

Knackered today, spread out 8 tonnes of pea shingle and 10mm mix, then made bespoke steps in the garden utilising existing slate. Off for a bath now 😁

Working from home yesterday. Ivory Marble on the ceiling and Mellow Sage on the walls. A bit of filler and caulk for the cracks. 😁

Fabulous start to the new year. This rental property has had a makeover before potentially being put on the market. Walls, ceilings, doors and skirting all done.

What an absolutely fabulous job to finish the year with.

Back to a regular customer (you guys are the best 😁) to take out and replace 5 kitchen worktops, remove all wall tiles and replace with new, remove and replace the sink unit and tap, upgrade switchgear and remove glass tiled wall, wooden door and surround and make good. Plenty of laughs and coffee along the way and already booked in for 2024 for more work. 👍

What an amazing 4 days spent in North Wales at Woody's Luxury Glamping with Dan Unsworth - Carpenter and Handyman

Took down an internal wall and fitted an oak beam lintel. Stripped out the old kitchen ready for a new one to be fitted and also fitted 3 internal oak doors. Plus we were spoilt rotten by our hosts. A great success all round.

Well, today was mainly hedge cutting, fixing and cleaning guttering and a bit of painting, all for a regular customer 😁 Feature wall refreshed.....

Back to a regular customer today, brightened up the hallway with 2 coats of seasalt
