2020 10U Flagstaff Eagles Football

Thanks for an awesome season!

I felt like this season was more important than the others. With the pandemic, online school, losing my Dad, this crazy election, and all the chaos in our lives, this game that we play was such an escape from things out of our control. I love coaching these young men. I can’t wait to get back out there!

We’ll be back, and we’ll be better.

What a game! Our boys showed what they’re made of and clinched the season championship.

Teyan was the defensive player of the game. He had a pick, broke up a bunch of passes, and played hard on their star receiver.

On offense, we had two players of the game. Kainoa had some clutch catches including a TD where he muscled the ball away from the defense and a key fourth down conversion.
Logan gave us a cushion at the end of the game with a fourth down tipped ball TD.

One more regular season game. We’ll be focused, but we’ll have some fun.

Only 2 regular season games left. The boys played great last week against the Panthers Everyone had at least one score and five different QBs threw for a score (Broden, Nick, Ollie, Logan, and Teyan). Our defense was back to their normal selves, allowing just one TD.

Logan and Ben were the offensive players of the game. Logan threw a TD and caught two scoring passes. And the Panthers could not get their hands on Ben’s flags. He scored twice.

On defense, Broden had three more interceptions. I lost count of how many he has this season, but I’d bet it is a record. He was our defensive player of the game.

If we win this Friday we’ll be the regular season champions.

After falling behind early to the Buccaneers, our boys took the lead and never looked back.

The offensive player of the game was Kainoa and Teyan was the defensive player of the game.

It felt so good to be out there again! The boys were ready too. Our defense attacked and our offense was unstoppable. Can’t wait to get back out there on Wednesday. Enjoy the weekend.
