Let me capture your real and & raw moments. Also a photog for the Highland games.
Our lives have been consumed in baseball since spring ball started in April. Coach pitch, then being recruited to JBO and in August we started Little League fall ball. What started out as a, "Joe wants me to play with him, but I'm not sure I'm going to like it." has turned into a, "I'm going to be a famous MLB catcher." 🥹
It has always been a favorite mine to watch, but getting to watch your own kid play, just hits a little different.
This guy lives and breathes baseball now. Roy disappears, and you can almost always catch him watching videos of Adley Rutschman, learning his every move.
We've been none stop with practices and games the last two months for fall ball. This is the first week we haven't had anything going on. BUT. I won't lie though... I'm having some baseball withdrawals... 😂
Its WILD to me that I'm taking my brother in laws senior pictures. He was just a wee little 8 year old boy when I first met him! 🥹
It's been a pleasure to watch him grow into such a wonderful young man that he is. And we sure do love some uncle Marky around here!
Little update for you, my clients, my fans, whoever you are. Life has been wild since school & sports started! ☺️
I will need to take a break from my business from late November until mid January to recover from surgery and then will need to evaluate how I’m feeling to see if I need more time to heal physically and mentally.
Next month, on November 20th, I’m having a hysterectomy and it’s bittersweet for both Brett and I. We have always wanted lots of babies, but our time has come to an end. I’ve been fighting for years to try and find out why I’m always in such constant pain, & dealing with miscarriages. In May, I finally found someone who listened to me, and sympathized with me. It was not an easy decision to make, and I’ve been dealing with emotions since May knowing it could be coming. And now, it’s confirmed. It’s all coming to an end very quickly, and emotions are very high. But I’ll be thankful to finally be out of pain and see how my new journey in this life unfolds. If you could keep us in your prayers, that would be amazing. It’s very emotional for both Brett and I. I know I will need to heal physically, but mentally it is going to be tough.
So with that said, if you would like to book a session please reach out! My last few weeks are filling so fast and appreciate all of the support you have given our family. 🤍
When your bestie wants to do a ghost session with you, so you recruit your husband to take the pictures.
*puts camera on basic settings so he can operate*
He still messes up some how and every single picture comes out unfocused. But at least he tried! I'll be keeping the photography skills to myself I guess 😂
Please enjoy!!

Kids start school back up in 2 weeks, my middle son starts fall baseball and my daughter decided she wanted to play volleyball this year! I’m so so excited for them 🥰
Probably my two favorite sports to watch besides our highland fam bam!
I’m loving being a sports photographer, I love a good family or couples session. But my heart lies with sports. Which is funny to me, because I wasn’t (and still am not) the most athletic kid on the block. I played volleyball and did dance for a few years but that was about it.
But just something about getting to capture all the small little details and watching people put their whole soul into each throw, catch, bump whatever it may be.
Oh and just minding my own business, doing me, not having to talk much 😜
*also not sure who this badass chick is, so tagging of said person would be great. Thanks!
My day may not be going the way I want, and kids may be a pain today. BUT I'm loving this cooler weather we are having here in Oregon. It hasn't got over 70 today and its greeeeeat!
As our highland season comes to an end, its bittersweet. I always wish we could go to more throughout the year, but we are busy enough. And lets be honest, and if you know me, you know. I would probably be very peopled out by this time of the season if we attended more. 😅
Albany has become a favorite for me. Mainly because it's the closest game to home 😉 it was a blast this year, and Josh killed it, once again! Such a great guy to talk to as well.
A little different (and more precious) then my normal sporting content.
I typically don’t do newborns. They are so so hard. I typically refer clients to my other photog friend, Ms. Shanna Hall. She took both my boys’ & and is the damn queen at newborn!
But I made a special okay for these clients. I work for them and nanny their older daughter.
My husband and James met through our local fire department, but sadly my husband isn’t apart of the fire fam anymore. It was so nostalgic being back in here! Brought back so many memories made with our old friends. 🥰
Wow! What a weekend! It's always a great time at the Albany Scottish Festival & Highland Games! Brett and I always enjoy ourselves and love seeing everyone.
I'm always so thankful for Shelley asking me to be at her games. Love her to pieces & always feel welcomed and appreciated!
Of course, I couldn't miss my chance of getting shots of one my favorite guys. Thankfully he just goes along with my shenanigans at this point😜
I also want to give a huge shoutout to everyone who came up to me to tell me how much they appreciate us photographers who are out there busting our butts (and sometimes putting ourselves in danger for THAT shot). Maybe I shouldn't talk for the other photographers, but when I say I truly appreciate it, I mean it with my whole heart! Sometimes it doesn't look like we do much, but there is so much more that goes on behind the scenes you don't get to see. You all are so awesome!
Central Oregon 2023 is up on the site!
If you would like to purchase individual photos, please let me know! You can reach out on here, or through my personal page.
*I do NOT have purchasing set up on my website.*
These games were cut a little short due to the storm that rolled through. If I missed you, I'm truly so so sorry and will try harder at other games. I try and get some of everyone though. You all are awesome and deserve some camera time!
Also, I'm sure you saw our 8 year old son was out taking pictures as well. So I hope you guys enjoy these extra special photos. He had such a great time out there with everyone and was so proud of his work! These are probably 50% his work!🥰
Enjoy my friends!

Tasha + Paul ❤️
Ya'll my social media presence has not been the best lately!
I've been working so much lately, it's the last thing on my mind to be honest. Any extra down time I've been soaking up my hubby and kiddos! 😍
But working on some Central Oregon Celtic Festival & Highland Games today. This shot of Josh (I think that's who this is. I'm terrible with names 😅) is one of my favorites so far! It just amazes me, that for that split second the caber is floating in the air by itself , waiting to see if it'll be caught.
I'm not into throwing, and probably will never pick any implement up, but the one I'm always tempted to try is caber.
Maybe I'll have Brett help me pick our sons caber this summer 😜
Happy *almost* Mothers Day, friends!
I hope everyone gets showered with all love they deserve tomorrow. I'm very excited to watch my middle son receive his First Communion, and then heading home to hang out with my babies. Then to eat all the ceviche! My FAVORITE!
Also, get that mama, grandma, aunt, sister, WHOEVER a gift card for a photoshoot! Time for updated family pictures!
Suns out, cameras out. (I'm making that a new sayin😜)
I'm heading into work in a few minutes.
But before I leave, I want to leave you with this precious family.
We tried finding the perfect location for their family session. And late one night Tasha texted me saying "You're gonna laugh at me but I'm leaning towards maybe we should just do our pictures at and around our house..."
It was perfect! They are having to say goodbye to this perfect property and house that they have built & have spent so much time making the best memories in. A little part of me is being selfish, hoping they find another perfect place here in Oregon, and not elsewhere because I'll simply just miss my friend. 😘
Wait.
Does this kilt make me fit in yet? 🫣
I won’t be picking up any implements, because NO THANKS.
I’ll just carrying around my backpack full of photog gear.
It’s a wee bit big on me, which I guess is a good thing. But sadly I’m not sure it’ll work for this weekend game. Maybe I’ll have to figure out some safety pinning because I can’t let it go to waste!
See y’all at the this weekend!
Hi friends!
The last few days I’ve been revamping my page, like deleting over 1,000 posts dating back to my very first post on the gram in 2012!
I’ve also been playing around with some new logos🫣 I think I’ve finally landed on one, but I made it myself so I’m still trying to stare at it and see if I LOOOOVE it before sharing to the world.
But anywhoooo.
My husband and I get to kick off our highland game season with Central Oregon Celtic Festival & Highland Games May 6th. Thank you to Shelley Reed and crew for having me back. Means the world to me! We are sneaking away for the whole weekend, and I’m so excited!
Which seems funny because I’m not a social person. I like to hide behind my camera most of the time. I promise I’m not mean, I just don’t know how to talk to big humans, only tiny humans 😂🫣
Enjoy this picture (which is probably one of my favorites from last season at McMinnville Scottish Festival) of another highland photog/athlete, Cassie Montague
Hey friends! Little update!
Starting the beginning of April I will only have the late evenings (hello golden hour! my faaaaav!!) and weekends to do sessions. So lets book em up!
I'm so excited that the sun has shown its face a few times the last few days. Are you?? 😍
Long time, no post...
It seems like summer to December I'm so so busy! I was happy to be on a break and spend some much needed time out from behind the camera. It didn't stop me from thinking of some creative sessions though! 😉
Although it doesn't seem like the sun is coming out lately here in the PNW. I keep telling myself IT WILL COME OUT SOON! 😂(Hence my summertime picture, because I'm ready for the sunshine!)
Message me to get on the books, friends! Some months are already filling up with some maternity, BIRTHS 🥳, and of course our yearly Highland games. So please doesn't hesitate.
Shhhh.... 🤫🤫🤫
Mommy kissed Santa this weekend!
Happy Sunday!
My family has been cooped up since yesterday with the sickness going around. Let's be real. Is anyone in this world healthy right now? 🤧I'm so ready for a break from coughing and sleepless nights. My babies sound awful!
In other news!
I'm working on a maternity/in home newborn session package to offer to everyone in the coming new year. Do we want to add in a birthing package as well? I had my sweet friend at both of our sons births and they are my most treasured pictures EVER. I'm really trying to up my business to the next level in 2023 and I'm so excited for what is to come. 2023 is going to be my year to grow! 😍
Come get a picture with Santa from yours truly, & some extra goodies! 😍😍

Little update:
I might be a little slow on my response time & delivery time for a hot minute.
On Sunday morning my husband and son were t-boned and totaled our car. They are okay, no major injuries. I spent Sunday night in the ER with our son due to head pain. Everything checked out okay, but he has a concussion. Which is his 3rd one in his small 8 years 😅
Then last night I spent the night in urgent care with our youngest son. He has a major ear infection. The doctor was surprised he had only started complaining a few hours prior.
Whew!! It’s been a week the last 2 days.
If y’all could send some prayers (and maybe a car 💀) our way that would be great! Not sure if God is mad at us, or probably just the devil wanting to have some extra fun this week.
I hope everyone has a great Thanksgiving weekend though. I know I’m ready for some good yummies & family time!
From here on out, my hyper fixation will be doing sessions in this greenhouse. I mean... COME ON!!
Family sessions are always fun, and always needed. At least once a year in my opinion. My husband would say otherwise.. 😜
I still have some time to get a few more people on my schedule before Christmas! Let's get those family pictures done.
I also have gift certificates for Christmas gifts if that's something you want to do for a family or friend. 😍
Annnnndddd this was seconds before Brandon almost killed me. 😅
The weight slipped right out of his hand when he went to throw it over, it landed right in front of me. Luckily, I was sitting next to Tyler who practically pulled me behind him. Thank goodness!
Safety during games is such a huge thing. It’s something I’ve always understood even before I started photographing them. I’m thinking maybe I need to wear some armor getting this close up. 😂💀
My intentions for today were to edit my life away, but turns out life had other plans and I was awake all night so sick. So as soon as I came back from dropping kids off at school I went back to bed and didn't wake up until 2pm.😅
But enjoy this little baby jaming out to the WICKED TINKERS at the McMinnville Scottish Festival. They were so cute walking up and just staring at the guys in awe!
I love getting up close and these guys in action. My ears... Probably not so much with the speakers blasting in them😂
Forever thankful for my Christianson family!!
We booked a studio since we have been having some serious wind and rain here in Oregon. And without being to harsh, let's just say... I'm not happy and won't be booking with them again. If you plan on having a business, let's be decent humans and uphold what we say we will do. 🤗 I can't imagine doing something like that to my own clients.
I seriously felt and still feel so dang awful, and will apologize for the rest of my life!
So with that being said, we had to improvise and luckily they knew about a little park around the corner. And they rain held off until we were under the bridge, thank goodness! Pure God! These ended up coming out so perfect, and the kids did so good with it being a tad chilly out. I can't stop smiling at these!
