Performance and Swap parts for the GM Atlas series, including the Vortec 4200 I6 and I5 & I4 variants
Just a reminder that the shop is under construction, and orders are temporarily paused until after Nov 18th. But, I have some exciting stuff to announce soon, thanks for your patience! Now go out and enjoy those fall colors, and get your car builds started before mother nature brings us Northerners the snow ; )
Hello Friends, one of the necessary evils of a growing business is shop management and space! With the impending snow and cold in Michigan right around the corner, I've decided now is the time to make some major shop refurbishments while the heat can be off. That will involve my equipment being disconnected and inventory temporarily packed away, then all set back up again. Because of this, I will need to pause all order processing until November 18th to be safe. Anyone I've already promised parts or services to as of today (you know who you are, hehe) dont worry, you will still get your parts by the close of this week. Only new orders are now on hold. Thank you for your patience as Atlas makes adjustments to better serve you! Some exciting new parts are RIGHT around the corner...
All the Best, Eric
Cooking up some goodies in the lab...
I've been quiet lately, working hard in the lab to come out with some new parts! Thanks for your patience and stay tuned!

Aftermarket ECUs have their place, but why overcomplicate a basic 300-500HP 4200 swap? This is why I love a stock ECU setup. It just works...

SLEEVES 💪 (yes I know it's not Sunday 🤣)
Hard to keep my ADHD fueled excitement contained 🤣 Some new products about to drop...
I've added quite a few new products to the website today, but I have one to highlight in particular! https://atlasinds.com/products/oil-pressure-adapter?utm_source=copyToPasteBoard&utm_medium=product-links&utm_content=web
This is a special fitting (designed by me for the Atlas engines and not a re-purposed LS design) that allows an aftermarket gauge or pressure adapter to be added to the un-used port on the front of the block's oil filter casting.
This is a higher quality part that's also less expensive than anything you will get on amazon, and you're supporting me instead of mr. bezos.
The factory 4200 oil pressure is a fraud. Yes, for some reason GM decided to use a switch instead of a sensor. The factory GMT360 and GMT355 gauge in the dash is completely made up by the ECU based on engine RPM, and the only time it shows a real number is if it's too low, which could be too late.
This fitting works with any Atlas engine: 4, 5 or 6. Anodized 6061-T6 Aluminum. The M16x1.5 threads are the exact length as the OEM plug, and the internal thread is common 1/8" NPT to fit a wide variety of sensors, hoses or gauge adapters. There is a substantial amount of "meat" to drill and tap the fitting for a larger size sensor if desired.
I'll be fully open and honest that I had these machined in Taiwan and Anodized here. While I try to make everything in the US as possible, I wanted to offer a low cost solution to this problem.
CNC could do it faster, but wheres the fun in that? 1951 Lathe made in Ohio turning out some new Atlas parts here in Metro Detroit. New products coming soon ; )
Happy Mothers Day everyone. First, go sign up for the Atlas Nationals!!!! https://msreg.com/atlasnationals
Second, a sneak peak of an incoming new product 🤫. Need more hood clearance and want to add some beauty to the world? Atlas Industries has got you covered. Stay tuned to atlasinds.com for an order debut in 2 weeks. Lastly, go thank a Mother today 🫡
Archaic solid axle suspension sure has it's advantages for under-engine work 😎. Going to be test fitting a new high clearance oil pan design for eventual casting late this year.
