With the advent of Defi (Decentralized Finance), applications (Dapps)in the field have exploded.

Unfortunately as with any such thing, the landscape has been littered with scams and "get rich quick" schemes where unscrupulous developers built smart contracts that were nor secure, not audited and in many cases contained so called "back doors" through which they would enter the contract after it had reached a certain predetermined value and literally stole the funds within the contract.
Many people lost huge sums in this way and the industry has suffered as a result of these unscrupulous people.

At Dappdefender we believe in launching only safe, secure and most importantly, independently audited smart contracts, in the Defi landscape.
Our first project is a refined version of the popular Hourglass contract. What we have done is replicated the Hourglass concept and added the ability of the contract to accept all ERC20 tokens. This enables the investor to invest using the financial instrument of his/her choice to invest in the contract Dtoken.

As mentioned, our contracts are independently audited, declared free of vulnerabilities and/or "back doors". They also run autonymously on the blockchain.

Briefly the contract works like this:
The contract is pre programmed to set the initial price of the Dtoken and with every buy order of the Dtoken, the contract automatically increments the price/value of the Dtoken. This means that if you buy the Dtoken at price X, the next person buys the Dtoken at price X plus the increment value. This effectively increases the value of Dtoken held by yourself.

Similarly, as soon as one person decides that their Dtokens have increased sufficiently in value and decide to sell some or all of them, the contract adjusts the price/value of all tokens held by everyone down by the same increment value.

In this way people can buy and sell the contract Dtoken just as they would any other asset on any exchange.

Another way that investors will earn within the contract is to earn dividends.
Dividends are paid in two different ways:
Firstly, for every transaction a fee of 10% is charged. This fee is then distributed among all Dtoken holders in the proportion of their holdings of the Dtoken. As an example, if the fee is 10Dtokens and I as an investor holds 10% of all Dtokens, I will earn 1 Dtoken as a dividend from that transaction. This applies to all transactions whether they are buy, sell orr transfer transactions.

The second way in which investors can earn dividends is by introducing others to the opportunity.
As a referrer of the platform, you will earn 30% of the transaction fee when your referrals invest in the contract.
As an example, if your referral purchases 100 Dtokens, the transaction fee will be 10 Dtokens. Of the 10 Dtokens you as the referrer will earn 3 Dtokens.
