In a season where the workload to create goals was spread widely across a unified squad, Xavi O’Neil & Gerardo Castillo led the way with 4️⃣ assists a piece.

The winger and left-back respectively were menacing out wide all summer long, creating, defending, and getting on the scoresheet themselves. 👏

2024 Statistical Leaders 📊

Yaniv Bazini led the club in scoring this season, a stat that will come as a surprise to absolutely no one. The star striker bagged 12 goals in 16 USL League Two appearances, including a famous hat-trick against Connecticut as a second half substitute, and the iconic 90th minute playoff winner against Reading.

Bazini finishes 2024 as the all-time leading goal scorer for Vermont Green FC, a remarkable 19 goals in 23 matches.

2024 Statistical Leaders 📊

Vermont Green FC Captain Moussa Ndiaye led the club in appearances, starts, and minutes played in the 2024 USL League Two regular season and playoffs. In addition to these numbers, which only account for league play, the fan-favorite centerback played every minute in the Lamar Hunt U.S. Open Cup in March and April.

In these moments it’s hard to conjure the words that express just how much gratitude we have for the community that uplifts this club. The 2024 Vermont Green FC season was historic, on and off the pitch, as fans packed Virtue Field week after week and continued to build a compassionate, conscious movement through the beautiful game.

You are truly the greatest fans.

Vermont Green FC will face top-ranked Seacoast United Phantoms tonight at Carey Stadium in the USL League Two Playoffs Round of 16.

A big occasion. A familiar foe. All together, Vermonters.

We saw the scenes. We heard the voices. Even all the way from here, our fans make the difference.

Vermont Green FC’s playoff match against Seacoast United will be streamed, and once again our friends at Vivid Coffee are hosting a watch party at the cafe on Sunday, July 21st at 7pm! 📺

Vivid Coffee will have beer, wine, coffee, and snacks for sale at the event. Support local—thank you to Vivid for making the space, even after hours and at a very busy time.

The Phantoms, a familiar foe for the Green, defeated Mid Atlantic Division Champions Ocean City Nor’Easters last night by a score of 1-0, setting up a Sunday night Twin State Derby in the Garden State.
