Today was such an amazing experience for us as a team, everything about today was so inspiring. Not only did we learn personal skills but we learned so much about one another. Today we hung the shoes up and didn’t touch a ball, we sat down and opened up to one another, today these young ladies finally acknowledged they are more than basketball players. Huge thank you to for putting this together, we appreciate everything you’ve done for us today and all the doors you’ve opened up for us. Today was our first ever event for the MVP Foundation, this meant so much not only to our players but to our coaches as well. Thank you to everyone that’s believed in us and our program and everything we stand for. This is bigger than basketball! 🙏🏽

Although it is very important for us to help these young women become better athletes, it is also very important for us to help these young women become better people off of the court. Not only is it the first event for our foundation but it is one of the many opportunities that we are able to provide for our team. Big thank you to our Co-founder Tomas Stanton in organizing this event! This is bigger than basketball!

APRIL RECAP! First off, not one but 2 of our amazing seniors signed to play at Phoenix College to further their academic and basketball careers! We can’t wait to see what these 2 young ladies accomplish! Then we had an opportunity to participate in a block clean up for another foundation who is a good friend of ours! We salute every female athlete, their sisters, their mothers, and their grandmother’s. Today is to honor all the strong, beautiful and amazing young ladies we get to coach and mentor everyday, we will always fight for you and we always have your backs. As High School basketball comes to an end we would like to acknowledge and congratulate all of our MVP girls awards or not, we are proud of you guys and we can’t wait to be back in the gym with you! 🙌 We would also like to congratulate our girls that did get awards for their seasons, we had girls get awarded for player of the region, defensive player of the region, first team all region, second team all region and honorable mention! 🥳🤩 WAY TO REP LADIES!

Took 2nd place in Halloween Hoopfest Tournament 👏🏽 Last tournament of the club season now on to school ball 💪🏽 So proud of all the work these girls put in this club season! Time to show out 🤩

Man what a past few weeks! Definitely a ride to remember. Last week in San Marcos tourney to finishing in this weeks HoopSource/EOT Summer Sizzle. MVP varsity finished out their last 2 weekends going 8-1. This was our seniors last weekend with us as they all move on to college. Abby heading to GCU and Jonae heading all the way to Penn State! Monique will continue at LPU to hoop and run cross country. Yvette and Ameena will continue to be teammates and play for Coach Wilson at SAGU. These girls have given me their all and I appreciate every single one of them. MVP is a family for life and they will continue to represent our program on the next level on and off the court.

VARSITY GOT THE DUB IN THE CHAMPIONSHIP GAME 💪🏽 Man the support we had this weekend was phenomenal, our families and friends really showed up & showed out! Thank you to everyone that came out and watched us! This is FAMILY, this is what it’s all about! Congratulations to the Varsity girls on taking care of business 👏🏽 MVP went to .vettee5 ❗️ The dedication, the love and the sacrifices this girl has made to become the player she is today, is just unmatched. Congratulations to our very own Ameena Muhammad on signing her LOI to play basketball for Coach Wilson and the . Ameena is a walking bucket and a killer on the court. I’m glad this unfound gem walked into my practice ready to learn and grow as a player. Been rocking for a couple years and she just developed into one helluva competitor and player. If you played against us you know. You doubled her, you pressed her, you did everything you could to stop her and she still gave you buckets. She’s the real deal and coach Wilson got a real one! Can’t wait to watch my girls play on the next level! Two of them on the same team Ameena and Yvette and will compete against Mo playing at LPU during the season. This should be fun!

MVP Varsity girls won the silver Championship in the Battle in the Desert. MVP Jv girls fought hard to get to the championship in the silver division but came up short in the final. Proud of both teams making strides and working hard every week. Our girl Jalynn got MVP honors. Comeback in progress! 8 months ago this girl was told she wasn’t gonna play again. After a rough rehab that would’ve broke so many she worked hard. I kept telling her I trust God will take care of the rest. That was my belief and still is. She isn’t done either! We all still grinding! Proud of all our girls!
