Every journey towards peace, beings with a single step.
My journey is still an angoing process which I learned to appreciate every moment in it.
I personally think, that the way you think, do your thing, speak to others or act says a lot about your inner work.

Padmasana. Lotus Pose.
This posture opens the hips, increases the range of motion of the ankles, improves the focus and concentration and much more ๐
It counts to be one of best meditation poses and calms mind while preforming it.
This Asana is advanced. It demands flexibility in the groin, hips and legs muscles. If you do this prematurely, you can injure your knees.
Before trying this Asana you should prepare yourself with hip opening exercises and to stretch your legs and glutes muscles.
Very important, be patient.
You should not feel any pain in your joints while doing this Asana.
If you prepered yourself and yet you feel pain in this position, it means, that either your body isn't yet ready for it, or you preforming the Asana not correctly.
Couple of guidelines for this Asana:
๐ฃ Before you cross your legs, make sure you sit on your sit bones, so you will feel the ground beneath you. That will help you calming the mind. You can place a pillow or a block underneath your buttocks for more support.
๐ฃ Keep your back straight by keeping the core muscles engaged. (Suck your belly in)
๐ฃ Keep your shoulders away from your ears, try to relax them as much as possible.
๐ฃ Your hands can rest on your knees, or hips, or wherever you feel more comfortable.
๐ฃ Breath deeply. This Asana is great for practicing Pranayama or any other deep breath exercises.

Garudasana. Eagle Pose.
Starches your hips, upper back and shoulders.
Strengthen your core, legs, knees and ankles.
Improve your balance and your digestion.
And much more. I challenge you to give it a try ๐
Couple guidelines for this Asana:
๐ฆ Keep your back straight by tucking your tummy in (engaging your core) during this Asana.
That will help you balance yourself more easily.
๐ฆ Keep your gaze in one spot in front of you.
Try not to move your eyes from this point. That is also a great way to improve your balance.
๐ฆ After you crossed your arms, try to bring your arms upwards, so they will be in one line with your shoulders. (Pro Tip- Preper your shoulders with Cow Face Pose/Gomukhasana)
๐ฆ Before crossing your legs, square your hips.
You will feel how your legs are lifted with more ease.
๐ฆ Deep and slow breaths are the key for a successful Asana. Do NOT lock your breath.
๐ฆ If you fall, it's OK.
Try again until you are more comfortable in this pose ๐ค
๐ฆ And if course, the most important Tip, smile and enjoy!

Bring your Yoga mat with you and Yoga blocks if you have.
If you don't have a yoga mat, you could use a big towel or a blanket.
You will benefit from the class more if you don't eat at least 3 hours before the session and drink enough water in the morning.๐ง๐ฅค

Vrksasana. Tree pose.
Great standing pose that demands calmness of the mind and stillness of the body.
Hip opener, strengthens the entire leg that you're standing on and the core muscles.
Some guidelines for this Asana:
๐ธ๏ธBring the sole of you foot anywhere but on the knee to avoid unnecessary pressure on your knee joint.
๐น๏ธKeep your weight carrying knee slightly bent to protect the joint.
๐ธ๏ธEngage your core and leg muscles to balance yourself.
๐น๏ธLengthen your back and bring your pelvic to a neutral position.
๐ธ๏ธDon't forget to breath deeply through the whole Asana.
