The fabric is called Chirimen, a traditional Japanese fabric that is woven with twisted yarns, which create an uneven surface. Chirimen is considered as the ultimate luxury fabric for kimonos😮‍💨😍✨✨✨

The oxalis family crest is one of the oldest ones in history from Western Japan, and was used by some of the prominent sh**un families (the head of samurai🗡️).

Both are very shimmery and truly gorgeous!✨ In great condition for kimonos that are around 100 years old. They are very long but you can shorten it by 1. folding the hem towards the lining and sew it together with the lining or 2. cut it off (yes!) and make a belt from the leftover fabric😉🪡💗
