The first day of my weight loss journey I took a ton of starting progress pictures! I put on a bunch of different outfits and took front and side photos to keep as motivation and a way to measure progress.

Decided to try this shirt on again today because it always gives me a little extra motivation when I need it! I usually find something new that I havenโ€™t noticed to show my hard work is leading to results! In this picture, I canโ€™t believe the change in the size of my neck! Itโ€™s something I honestly wouldnโ€™t have known if it werenโ€™t for the pics!

Finding new ways to see progress has been so important on my weight loss journey!

My face in the before picture cracks me up now but really reminds me of the bad place I was in 3 years ago. I was so upset at myself for digging myself into a hole & never thought I was going to get out.

When I realized I was in control of my decisions and where I was going, everything changed. I had to prioritize my mental help, sleep, stress levels, nutrition and activity & thatโ€™s when the progress came!

One thing that I do NOT miss from before I started my journey was having a puffy face ALL THE TIME.

I was making so many choices (not enough sleep, not paying attention to how much alcohol I was drinking & how frequently, eating tons of sugar & fast food) that made me feel awful & it always showed in my face!

It makes me happy to see that taking better care of myself & making healthier choices has helped other features on my face stand out even more! ๐Ÿฅฐ

I weighed myself & took updated progress pics this morning! I was not surprised to see I was 185 again. It made me wonder what my progress pics looked like from the first day I hit 185 back in 2021!

Itโ€™s crazy to compare the last two pictures knowing Iโ€™m the same weight in both! It just helps to remind me that the scale is just a number & I canโ€™t focus too much on it! This just gives me another push of motivation to keep working hard at the gym & continue making nourishing meals!

My detox plan isnโ€™t just to help me lose weight fast (typically 10lbs or 5kg per week) but it is also amazing for keeping my mental health in check, refocusing me on my goals and gets my body feeling insanely healthy and cleansed ๐ŸŒป

Weโ€™re heading into fall so I decided to try my swimsuits on one last time for the summer to update my progress pics!

Iโ€™ve said this before but I had gotten to the point where I didnโ€™t think Iโ€™d wear a swimsuit again because I truly felt so uncomfortable & self conscious. Never in a million years did I imagine Iโ€™d be comfortable in a two piece again!

Looking at these pictures shows me how far Iโ€™ve come & the dedication I have put into my health & wellness.

I so badly wanted to feel comfortable & confident in my own skin. Itโ€™s so crazy though because I always thought my confidence would come from how I looked after transforming my body & thatโ€™s truly been the smallest part of it. I finally have confidence in myself because Iโ€™ve proven that I can do it. Iโ€™ve proven to myself that I can turn my life around & make the decisions that will help me in the long run! Iโ€™ve proven to myself that by staying consistent & taking it a day at a time, I can control where Iโ€™m headed!

Keep going & prove to yourself what your capable of, because you can truly do anything you set your mind to!!!
