FOLLOW YOUR HEART: THINK AGAIN!

For centuries, the heart has been idolized in literature, music, and art, with phrases like "follow your heart", leading us to believe it's a trusted guide. But what is this "heart" we're referring to? Many associate it with the physical organ, but the heart is so much more.

According to the HeartMath Institute, the heart's magnetic field is a staggering 5,000 times stronger than the brain's and can be detected up to 5 feet away from the body, and can be measured 3-4 feet outside the body in a 360-degree field. Research suggests the heart receives information before the brain, and is capable of learning, remembering, and making decisions independently.

Some people trust the human concepts of follow your heart over their Divine Being, making decisions based on emotions. While the heart has long been associated with positivity, its darker side is often overlooked. It's time to reevaluate the heart's influence and recognize its dual nature - both positive and negative."

DARK SIDE

Everything in the realitive world of the human experience has duality or polarity which is the base's of karma. Since the heart is mostly associated with the its positive polarity, we'll first take a look at its opposite polarity of negativity. Think again if you assume the heart is all love and light! It's got a dark side too. The heart has a surprisingly sophisticated network of neurons, neurotransmitters, proteins, and support cells - eerily similar to the brain. This complex system enables the heart to process information and even think negative and experience and hold trauma, just like our brains.

EXAMPLE

In the book, "The Heart's Code", neuropsychologist Dr. Paul Pearsall recounts the astonishing studies of hundreds of heart transplant patients. One in particular is an an eight-year-old girl Claire, who received a heart transplant from a ten-year-old girl who met a violent tragic death. Following the transplant, Claire began experiencing vivid nightmares that eerily depicted the donor's murder, providing crucial details that ultimately led to the killer's capture and conviction. This remarkable account forms the cornerstone of Pearsall's groundbreaking theory: that the heart harbors not only physical functions but also both negative and positive emotions.

While some may view the capture and conviction of the murderer as a positive outcome, a crucial consideration remains: what if Claire's parents had never gone to the police regarding Claire's nightmares, and Claire had suppressed them in her heart? Her experience could have led to subconscious (keyword) psychological trauma, manifesting as lifelong psychological and physical health issues, such as anxiety, depression, or chronic pain.

Claire's scenario raises the question: while people, including psychologist often focus on the brain for their concerns how many have hidden psychological concerns including traumas stored in the heart? And if they are relying on their heart for guidance, could they be unknowingly feeling the weight of those concerns or traumas, feeding the dragon they're trying to slay? After all, the heart frequency is 5,000 times stronger than the brain, suggesting its potential influence on our emotions and well-being is immense.

THE SPIRIT HEART

On the opposite polarity of the positive side of the duality of the heart, in ancient shamanic wisdom, the heart was considered a symbol or metaphor of spiritual power, wisdom, and intuition, not the physical heart. It was believed to be a gateway to the spirit world, and shamans would often use spirit heart-centered practices, such as meditation and drumming, to access higher states of consciousness and communicate with spirits. The spirit heart was also seen as a source of creativity, passion, and healing, and shamans would use spirit heart-based rituals and ceremonies to restore balance and harmony to individuals and communities. Additionally, the spirit heart was believed to hold the secrets of the ancestors and the collective wisdom of the tribe, and shamans would often seek guidance from the spirit heart in their healing and divination practices.

RECEPTOR AND TRANSMITTER

Both the brain and physical heart serve as receptors and transmitters. The question is, will you tune in to human information based on others' values and beliefs, of societal conditioning to "follow your heart"? Or will you receive Divine guidance from your spirit heart? The choice is yours: to be influenced by external human forces or to be the receptor of your Divine Being and listen to the whispers of your Divine consciousness, guiding you with Divine truth, to not only be guided, but also transmit your spirit heart to others.
