Are you an experienced carpenter ready to apply your skills in custom home construction, remodeling, and renovations? Han-Cor is looking for a dedicated carpenter to become part of our talented team.
Key Responsibilities:
Perform high-quality carpentry for custom home builds, renovations, and remodeling projects.
Accurately interpret blueprints and construction plans to execute detailed projects.
Measure, cut, and shape materials like wood, plastic, and fiberglass.
Install windows, doors, cabinets, counters, moldings, and other structures.
Work closely with team members and contractors to meet project timelines.
Follow all safety guidelines and regulations on job sites.
Requirements:
Minimum of 2 years' carpentry experience, ideally in custom home builds or renovations.
Proficiency with a variety of hand and power tools.
Ability to read and understand blueprints and construction documents.
Strong attention to detail and a passion for craftsmanship.
Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
A valid driver’s license and reliable transportation.

Jason Hanrahan here, owner of Han-Cor Construction. I think it’s important to share a personal message here because behind my company is my personal experience, skills and reputation. I have more than 25 years of experience as a carpenter. The more homes I have entered in those 25+ years, the more examples of shoddy work I have found and fixed, and the more I wanted to make sure my work was of the highest quality.
There are many reasons why craftsmanship may be poor - unqualified carpenters, the wrong people for the job, trying to work within a poorly quoted budget, or simply just a lack of concern for the client or the reputation of the entire industry. I quickly learned that through proper planning, clear communication with my clients, and respect for their time and money, my work would never have to be fixed by another carpenter. Powered by that knowledge, I launched Han-Cor Construction in 1999 and have never looked back.
Quality craftsmanship is NOT a thing of the past - certainly not at Han-Cor. We are committed to doing our BEST work, and doing it right the first time, so that any project we complete stands the test of time. Because of that, we are grateful to receive constant referrals and additional work from our clients.
I remain committed to keeping overhead costs low in order to make renovations more affordable and attainable for my clients. I do much of the work myself, while also leading and working alongside my talented team. I have deliberately partnered with the best plumbers, electricians and suppliers to ensure that they’re quality, attention and detail and customer service is a reflection of my own. I am proud to have been nominated for and won several awards in renovation, new home construction and client satisfaction, but most of all I’m proud of the quality craftsmanship that I promise and deliver to Han-Cor’s valued clients.
