A Florida resident I spoke to today actually sat through Hurricane Ian and left Florida Friday. She left behind her home that is now without water and electricity. While she didn’t experience a lot of damage from the storm, she said looking outside was an awful sight. On WALB at 6pm you’ll hear from other residents who say they were extremely lucky during the devastating storm.
First responders and people everywhere are continuing to never forget what happened on Sept. 11, 2001. Today in Valdosta people walked and ran to show their respect. Tune into WALB at 6 and 11 to hear why people won’t ever forget the tragedy.
