SNAP Emergency Allotments (the extra SNAP payments that families get in the second half of the month) will end in February 2023. Starting in March 2023, families will only receive one SNAP payment of their regular amount in the first half of the month.

This change will result in a large drop in benefits for SNAP participants starting in March. Help us ensure that everyone is aware of this upcoming change in benefits!

This past week, Per Scholas Philadelphia had it's First Holly Jolly Alumni Event where people got to connect with one another, network, and in some cases meet for the first time in person.

We hope everyone had a great time and looking forward to more events in 2023.

Comcast has been an incredible flagship partner for Per Scholas Philadelphia.

Yesterday, we welcomed 14 volunteers from Team Up representing Comcast’s Supply Chain operation for an entire day of networking, mock interviews, and career advice. In the words of our learners,: “It was an invaluable learning experience.”

The day ended with all of our learners receiving iPads as a parting gift!
