A GUIDE TO READING SKINCARE LABELS
1. Ingredients are listed from highest to lowest concentration
This means if a great ingredient is listed at the bottom, you're not going to get much benefit from it.
2. Period after opening
The product must be used within the timeframe noted inside the jar symbol (in months) after it has been opened
3. Beware of hidden ingredients
Few ayurvedic and herbal brands only disclose the Active Ingredients and all the other ‘chemical ingredients’ as merely listed as Base, thanks to its Ayurvedic Manufacturing License.
4. Don't be put off by complex sounding names
As an example, 'Cetyl alcohol' and 'Stearyl alcohol' may sound like something we'd prefer avoiding since we don't want skin-damaging alcohol, i.e. ethanol.
But these are actually types of fatty alcohol that stabilizes emulsions and is widely used in skincare. It’s completely safe for you skin.
5. False marketing claims
Just because a product is organic, natural, or green, it doesn't mean it's non-toxic. Do you really think the most potent herbs and finest quality ingredients, which require a great deal of expense and effort to both procure and process, can be sold at the price of mass products with synthetic ingredients?

Skin is the largest organ in your body and it absorbs everything due to its porous nature. When it comes to leading a healthy life, what you put on your body is just as important as what put inside it.
It is important to look closely at ingredients in our skin care products. If the products contains harsh, toxic chemicals, colors, and fragrances, it becomes easy for them to make their way into your body, then your blood and ultimately your lymphatic system.
When it comes to cosmetics, there is a huge difference between "Absorption" and "Pe*******on"
When a chemical penetrates the skin it, makes its crosses the the outer layer of skin and into skin’s deepe
Absorption is when a chemical enters your bloodstream.
👍Great if it's a healthy ingredient but not so much if it's a harmful chemical.
🔍
For each of the chemicals mentioned in this toxic list, evidence suggests connections to long-term health problems like skin irritantation, cancer and endocrine disruption
These chemicals get absorbed into your skin each time you apply, and this repeated toxicity can be harmful to your health
