Worthy Goddesses, thank you for tuning in to our page. May this serve as a safe space to share, practice and grow our Confidence, Courage and Compassion as a Community 🌎

One of the skills I love to teach is how to create a docking point for worry, anxiety and fear to just be. Without developing this skill, the waters of our minds are rough, choppy and overcrowded. Often it can become so loud and overbearing that nothing else has room to come through.

Movement is Health. And these emotions needs somewhere to go so that we can self-regulate. Sometimes they are stuffed down or brushed off with avoidance. Some of us have daily movement practices that help move things along. But for some of us, developing an exercise routine is quite challenging. One of the reasons is because we do not feel safe enough to be fully present in our body.

Metta is a meditation or awareness practice that begins with self-love and also builds compassion for others. My metta practice has become my evening prayer as I lie in bed. It eases my mind and body and leaves my heart feeling light and free as I trust in the divine energy if the Universe.

I would like to share a brief guided Metta practice that I have recorded on Insight Timer so that you can have an experience with Metta right here and now. Perhaps it's something already in your self-care toolbox or may serve as a healthy addition.

Let me know what you feel after you do this practice of Compassionate Awareness. Keep in mind that the practice intends to honor oneself first for a reason (why do you think that is?)

*How does Metta affect your sense of self-love and feelings of worthiness?

*Where do you find resistance in this practice? How does that show up in your body and in your self-talk?

*Why is trusting in the highest good a choice, not a necessity? (that everything and everyone is as it should be in this moment).
