A little late, but better than never :)

Although a much smaller turnout than we had hoped, it was a fabulous weekend with 100% completion across all rides/divisions.

Fortunately, it's been dry leading up to this rain, as the ground is drinking it rather than pooling. The ride base has held up well so the show will go on!

As a precaution, we want to keep people out of the areas that do get boggy in case of more rain over the weekend. Any damage to the grounds (Bobcat, topsoil, potential turf, etc.) is at the club's expense.

Someone will be at the gate to help direct you but the attached map is a guide. We'll do our best to mark on-site as appropriate. There is LOADS of room and all of the grassed area not marked below is GREAT camping with good grass coverage.

A few more things to note:
- We are 20 minutes from the nearest shop.
- Phone service is hit and miss.
- Dogs MUST BE ON LEADS AT ALL TIMES even in your camp.

⭐️ The ride base opens at 12 noon on Friday. Strictly NO entry sooner without confirmation.
⭐️ Nominations are not closing; nominate and come on down if you decide to ride last minute. But please nominate ASAP to help us with the numbers.
⭐️ A little rain is expected early in the week, so it should soften the track. If the forecast is wrong and we get heaps, we may have to postpone due to the softness of the ride base. This is unlikely, but just a warning.
⭐️ Presentations for Sunday rides may be moved forward if everyone is off track earlier but will be NO later than 3:30pm.
⭐️ If you can volunteer (especially TPR) please message our page :)

9 Kholo Endurance Riders members enjoyed a lovely day out yesterday riding 30km in the morning and some continuing on after a yummy lunch for further 20km 💙💛🐎 All horses and riders enjoyed our challenging and beautiful tracks 😍

30/30km with lunch in between - Members Only get together, details in our group 🙂

“The Lake” and surrounding areas are absolutely perfect for riding at present. And did you know it’s only 12 weeks until our ride?

Some more training loops will be posted in our members only group soon. And we’re discussing a social mock 80km. Join us 🙂

Our AGM was held today. Here is a summary!...

* Membership will open soon at $12 pp. Members will get a discount on their entry fee to our July ride (the amount is TBC) and access to our private group, where we will organise some social rides.

* Our 2024 committee is Matt Gadsby (President), Jeff Ablett (Vice President), David Gadsby (Treasurer) and Di Walduck (Secretary).

* We can't promise, but we are trying to make the 80km entry fee $120.

* July Ride Weekend Volunteers will get a limited edition shirt to wear over the weekend and keep. More info closer - Riders will be able to identify them easily to ask for help and thank them for giving up their weekend to help :)

* Prepare well for our ride. The tracks are not confirmed, but no tracks here are "easy."

Hello folks. I will be doing a slow 40km or so ride on the morning of the next meeting, Sunday 22nd May. Anyone wanting to join me can meet me at the ride base and if wanting to attend the meeting at 2.30pm I have 6 yards for horses at our place whilst we knuckle out the particulars for our event.
