Motor oil poured onto the ground or into storm drains, or tossed into trash cans can contaminate and pollute the soil, ground water, streams, and rivers. The EPA estimates that over 200 million gallons of used oil ends up in the trash, in water, and poured on the ground each year. This will affect water quality and wildlife habitats each year! Recycle your used motor oil to reduce the pollution threat!.
