There’s no love that is as special as the love of a grandmother.
They teach us so much but one thing that they don’t teach us is how to live without them (why am I crying 🥲)

Don’t wait till your wishing you had taken those photos. Whether that’s professional or a phone— take them all. My grandma is my best friend and she knows it. We stay bothering each other 🤭 I actually booked us our own little mothers day sessions this month! First for us 🤍

One of my best memories is have my nana in all our wedding photos, shortly after we had a baby and her wish was to have it on her birthday july 2 pushing this mama to 42 weeks 🫣 and sure enough our sweet baby was the best gift she ever received (her words not mine 🤪). We had all the plans in set for them to share their first birthday and professional photographer set..unexpectedly she passed right before and it was devastating. While we have photos I wish we had better ones.

Moral of this little story is, don’t wait. Book the session with your favorite photographer or simply set a tripod up if it’s not in your budget 🫶🏽 no judgement here.

Don’t wait for the “what ifs” or “I wish I had of..” just do it because you’ll regret not doing so.

MEET YOUR PHOTOGRAPHER 🤍

Hey y’all I’m Mallory, the owner and lead photographer for Kate Ross Photography located in Virginia and North Carolina. I have been photographing for almost 8 years. I specialize in family portraits, lifestyle, milestone photography and really whatever comes my way I’m down! I also do a limited number of Weddings each year.

I am a sahm and homeschooling mama (I know I’m crazy). So when I’m not behind the camera I’m chasing littles around and teaching. I am a wife to my amazing husband of almost ten years who has supported and encouraged me every step of the way of chasing my dreams. I have a love for all things water, fishing, boating you name it.

I have always loved photography, before I even considered it to be my life long profession. My husband saved when we were kids to surprise me with my first DSLR. I was in love with my camera. I love to photograph all aspects of life from maternity to family portraits and everything in between. I have dedicated myself to serve the Outer Banks, NC the past few years now and it’s been the best decision. This year I am traveling and doing more destination!

I am the mother of multiple littles and wife to my high school sweetheart. I have always loved working with children, they are way cooler then us adults are. While in my photography career I was a USAF nanny for years specializing in infantry so lots of baby content. I love photographing children in studio and going on the beach for family portraits. I am happy to say that I have an awesome job and I am so grateful to the people who invite us to capture the special moments and milestones in their lives. Thank you for supporting my little family and my dream, it means the world.
