Thousands of citizens, scientists and influencers have already put their names to the letter with more joining all the time.

Mass damage and destruction of ecosystems - - has led directly to the climate and ecological emergency we now face. As Greta has pointed out before, we already have the solutions. But until we close the door to the destruction, until we draw that line in the sand, finance and politics will continue to support the old ways. We cannot afford - our children, our planet cannot afford - for that to happen any more. It’s time to change the rules -

This glorious song just in from Maddie (15) and Megan (17), the Cody Sisters from Colorado. They and their Dad and their Mum have huge hearts and huge talents. The Cody Sisters heard about the many wonderful things Robin Baynes has been doing over the last 20+ years with his Liverpool Heartbeat charity bringing self-belief, help and FUN into the lives of young people who have been up against the odds in our region. The girls have recorded this legendary song to raise awareness of the homeless situation not only across Merseyside, but the whole of the UK, the US, and the world itself.....

An estimated 320,000 people are homeless in the UK. This is about one in every 201 people.

In the United States, there are an estimated 570,000 homeless.

Worldwide, it's estimated that there are more then 150 million homeless people (about 2 percent of the world's population).

Who are we as human beings if we ignore the suffering of others?
