Anyone can nominate someone else having a difficult time or themselves (did anyone say, having a child with cancer??) to receive a meal!

It can be delivered to someone in the hospital, or at home!

And they always need lasagna volunteers! Can you make a mean lasagna? Sign up to be a volunteer today!! 🙋‍♀️ 🥰 ♥️

What a beautiful story on this beautiful Tuesday!

James Crane worked on the 101st floor of Tower 1 of the World Trade Center ... He is blind so he has a golden retriever named Daisy.
After the plane hit 20 stories below, James knew that he was doomed, so he let Daisy go, out of an act of love.
She darted away into the darkened hallway.
Choking on the fumes of the jet fuel and the smoke James was just waiting to die. About 30 minutes later, Daisy comes back along with James’ boss, Who Daisy just happened to pick up on floor 112 on her first run of the building, she leads James, James’ boss, and about 300 more people out of the doomed building.
But she wasn’t through yet, she knew there were others who were trapped. So, highly against James’ wishes she ran back in the building.
On her second run, she saved 392 lives. Again she went back in. During this run, the building collapses.
James hears about this and falls on his knees into tears.
Against all known odds, Daisy makes it out alive, but this time she is carried by a firefighter. “She led us right to the people, before she got injured” the fireman explained.
Her final run saved another 273 lives. She suffered acute smoke inhalation, severe burns on all four paws, and a broken leg, but she saved 967 lives.
Daisy is the first civilian Canine to win the Medal of Honor of New York City.
Pass it on to all animal lovers.

Hi everyone! I just wanted to stop by real quick and let you know that we need to, unfortunately, close up shop for the near future.

It’s been no secret that Jackson spent the majority of the summer sick. He was diagnosed with an extremely rare form pediatric leukemia on August 16th. We are currently at Shands in Gainesville for the foreseeable future until he completes his induction period of chemo. We simply do not have a time line of when we will be able to come home.

So please pray for him and we’ll open back up as soon as we are able! And we will gladly love on your fur babies!!

Thank you,
Angela Morgenstern

THIS SATURDAY! Please support our local shelter. The funds from these clinics provide spay and neuter services for the dogs and cats in their care. Without these desperately needed funds, this critical procedure could not be done prior to adoptions! Please share!

🐾 There are no woofs to express the pain in my heart. Champ was my brother, best friend and mentor. He taught me everything I know. I take solace in the fact that he was so, so loved and he had a happy, long, meaningful life. Fly free, furry angel! 🕊

The only after hours and weekend animal ER is scaling back for now due to lack of physicians and staff. Please read below and have a plan ready in case your animal needs emergency care.

🐾 To Our Amazing Animal Care Center Family,

First off, we thank you for continuing to support our practice during these challenging and extremely busy times. This past year has been hard on so many, including our wonderful staff. As the demand and need of emergency medicine grows, we are actively interviewing and hiring ER staff members to support our vision of providing the top pet care available. At this current time we do not have the adequate amount of experienced staff members to provide the level of care and efficiency that emergency medicine requires.

With that being said, we have made the very difficult decision to TEMPORARILY suspend weekend emergency services (completely closed Saturday and Sunday ALL DAY) through the first weekend in July and will reevaluate and form a plan moving forward for the remainder of the summer. Doing so will give us the focus and time needed to adequately staff our clinic in order to properly run a critical and very much needed service for the Bay and surrounding counties. We will continue to take emergencies during the weekdays (Monday evenings – Friday mornings) and only doing so each evening until 12AM. Anything after the midnight hour will be redirected.

We understand the burden this will bring, therefore we have included the surrounding emergency clinics that provide weekend emergency care, please see below :

🐾 Emergency Veterinary Clinic of Okaloosa Walton County (Destin, FL) – (850) 424-4777

🐾 Emergency Veterinary Clinic of Niceville, FL – (850) 729-3335

🐾 Allied Veterinary Emergency Hospital of Tallahassee, FL – (850) 222-0123

🐾 Southern Regional Veterinary Specialists of Dothan, AL – (334) 699 - 7787

We are truly grateful for the encouragement and support from so many of our incredible community members and most importantly our amazing clients!

Thank you for your continued love and grace,

The Doctors and Staff at Animal Care Center of Panama City Beach

PLEASE SHARE THIS EVERYWHERE!!!!

EDUCATIONAL PICTURE!!!! This is a FLEDGLING mockingbird. He DOES NOT NEED RESCUING!!! How do we know? Notice the numerous p**ps. 😉 This means his parents are feeding him on the ground. Babies get fed, they p**p. 💩 He will be flying within a day or so and this is NORMAL!!!! His parents probably coaxed him onto this person's steps to get him out of the storm. The baby left the steps and disappeared into the bushes shortly after this picture was taken. Baby season is here in the panhandle of Florida! Baby mockingbirds are my most "rescued" baby bird! Please take a picture and send it to me before you try to "rescue" it, unless it is in imminent danger!

We’d like to take a moment to introduce some new friends! Meet Georgia and Dixie! Two of the sweetest, chillest little ladies we’ve had the pleasure of hanging out with! And don’t worry, even though Dixie was really close to that wild bun bun, the bunny had great instincts and just went ahead and took off. 😁
