Eno River Brewery is open from 3-9pm and a percentage of proceeds from sales during that time today will be donated to the PTGO!

We absolutely LOVED celebrating our teachers and staff all week!

Today we wrapped up with a grab-and-go lunch from Jersey Mike's complemented with "on-theme" take-home s'mores gifts in the cutest packaging 😋

But most importantly, THANK YOU to our fabulous teachers and staff members who deserve every bit of the appreciation we can give! We are so honored to have the privilege of celebrating you this week and truly appreciate ALL you do throughout the year to enrich the lives of our students! ❤️

Krispy Kreme, coffee, and fruit were also provided by generous donations from River Park parents!

We also kicked off the Camping themed teacher appreciation week with a Trail Mix Bar - thank you to all the families that contributed supplies!

We can't wait to celebrate our teachers and staff next week!
Here's a quick summary of how you can participate:

Monday: Bring in your Stars - cut and fill out the stars included in the Teacher Appreciation Packet. Students will post these in the hallways Monday Morning!

Tuesday: Wear your teacher's favorite color or team!

Wednesday: Bring in a flower for your teacher!

Thursday: Bring in a survival item for your teacher! (this could be a school supply, a favorite snack, something homemade, etc)

Friday: Wear your class T-shirt!

We were able to provide a huge spread of bagels, donuts, parfaits, delicious pastries, fruit, brew, and other breakfast beverages.

A HUGE thank you to The North Carolina Youth Tap Ensemble who put on an AMAZING performance for our students this morning.

River Park students earned this super cool experience by crushing the BIG Read-a-thon fundraising goal.

The students loved all of the dances but the Taiko seemed to be a fan favorite with the involvement of loud drumming on a giant drum - be sure to ask your student which dance they liked most!

It's bus driver appreciation week and River Park has an amazing group of bus drivers who ensure all our students get to and from school safely every day!
We are thankful for each one of our drivers.
As a small token of our appreciation, all drivers were gifted with a River Park hoodie so they can drive in style 🤩🤩

There are several upcoming meetings allowing for public input before a final decision is made.
