You may have seen the mannequin in High Point Grocery with the t-shirt we have for sale to commemorate the 75th year of our High Point Terrace Independence Day parade - the longest running one in Memphis! The t-shirts come in white or pale grey (and in adult and youth sizes), and we also have HPT trucker hats in red and bright blue. A portion of the proceeds of 901Tacos sales go to feed the needy. Tonight’s proceeds will feed 135 people ❤️❤️

901Tacos will be serving the needy tomorrow (June 3) at 10 o’clock at the Northgate Shopping Center in Frayser off of HWY 51, across from McDonald’s. They will be feeding 1000 people and are in need of volunteees if anyone is looking to serve those impacted by COVID-19. Please call Jeremiah with questions at (901) 661-5888. Our wonderful neighbor Anna will be making special patriotic masks for the pop-up at the Flex Space this Thursday at 5:30pm. $5 of each sale will go to the High Point Terrace Independence Day Parade Fund. There will also be an array of other masks ranging in price from $6-$15. She accepts Venmo and cash. She will have adult and children’s sizes. They are all individually packaged for added safety.

Hello neighbors! I’ve gotten quite a few messages about benches for the space. They actually run as high as $500 each. I got an alert that this bench is going for $100! I thought the green would look good with the mural.

Please let me know if there are any families or groups of neighbors that would like to donate $100. I set up a non-profit for neighborhood improvements, so it will be tax deductible!

Making summer memories at the Flex Space 💚

The pavement mural is complete! If you have not walked down to see it yet, I highly recommend you make it your destination on your next quarantine walk! The colors are beautiful and the design is soothing and fun. The talented artist is Mike Bullard who, along with his wife, designed and painted all of this as volunteers. Thank you Bullards!

Thanks to everyone who came out for Taco Tuesday. 901 Tacos has a unique program where a portion of profits fo to providing meals for people experiencing homelessness. The support from our neighborhood last night resulted in 120 meals to those in need! I continue to be so proud of the support our neighborhood is showing for the community!

Thank you to Mary Kate for an amazing yoga class in the Flex Space! We have some request to do it again. It’s really sunny in the space before 6pm, so with that in mind, what would be the best day for a regular evening class?

Already smells great! Truck will be open at 5pm at Mimosa and Aurora Circle. Cash or card accepted. And don’t forget, yoga at 6pm, one block west on Mimosa. Bring your own mat.
