Last but not least: Nayth” also known as “Nayth S**t Na S**t” is a young Congolese producer from Brussels.
He has been passionate about music since his young age.
He has been a producer since 2018. His greatest strength is his versatility in each of his productions. A music style where you can find softness but also good ambience.

Thank you for taking the time to read the cause of our fundraising.
OSU vzw is a non-profit organization that was founded 3 years ago under the initiative of 7 Antwerp youngsters.

The abbreviation stands for 'Our stories uncensored', we believe in creating, sharing and archiving the story of the black community in Flanders. We do this mainly by organizing various events, this week the Kroeshaar Festival that will take place on the 7th and 8th of august in Zomerfabriek Antwerp.

Last year, during the pandemic, we reached 1000 visitors, 70% of whom were between 18 and 35 years old.

This year we expect 2500 visitors between the ages of 16 and 35.
Our target audience is very extensive. Kroeshaar festival is a family friendly festival where our main target audience are black women with coily and curly hair.

The success of Kroeshaar festival also depends on donations to reimburse the costs of the artists, goodiebags, workshops and talents.
We welcome you to join and support our event by donating any amount.

AWASA by Kula Skoro

At this workshop Jose will teach you the Awasa dance.
Awasa is a Surinamese Maroon dance style in which beauty is portrayed through beautiful hand movements and stamping feet.

The dancers were anklets on their feet while dancing, and these are called kaawai
The kaawai creates a beautiful sound which goes along with the sound of the drums that is used during the Awasa dance.

Jeugdhuis 2050 is a youth house located at linkeroever. We reach various socially vulnerable young people and children from different ethnic backgrounds. We provide a monthly low-threshold offer and focus on both talent and self-development.

Zarrisa is a freelance writer with lots of love for children’s book/ stories
She wrote her first children’s book called “LIEVER NIET”.
which tells the story of Manoe on how he learned to set boundaries and is coming out in August this year.

Zarrisa believes children’s are made readers on the laps of their parents.
Therefore she will be doing a story telling moment at our event on the 8 of August 2021 starting at 12:00 till 13:00

My name is Aldo, a versatile young man from North Holland. The most important reason I became a hairdresser is because I saw how my mother, like many of us, treated her hair. She did that for herself but also for others. The effect of a person falling in love with themselves again is a beautiful experience and I'm glad I can play a role in it.

I’ve been working with hair for 10 years now. I am a self-taught hairdresser with a European pre-training. Most of the things I know, and can do in the hairdressing profession, in the field of black hair, is self taught. I have researched a lot to turned myself into the Hairguru I am today. I am specialised in almost everything. I make routines that work for my clients. I also make oils for different purposes and masks based on natural products.

I would like to pass down this knowledge on to others. Thats what I will do during this workshop designed for men. They can bring their girlfriend, sister, brother or mom so they can practice on their hair and learn more about natural hair while working on it.

Iraida believes it is important that every parent knows how to comb their child's hair. Therefore a workshop for all fathers, uncles and brothers to learn the basic steps in a fun and creative way.

The focus of the workshop will be on introducing the holistic hair care philosophy, developed by Janine van Throo, called NISH.

NISH stands for 'Nutrition-Ingredients-Scalp care-Hair maintenance'; the 4 pillars that, according to Janine, together contain the concept 'Hair care'.

During the workshop she gives the participants handles to make a mind shift from a 'product based approach' to a 'holistic approach', in which nutrition, or rather Nutrition, is an important part.

Youri Theseus was born on April 13, 1994 in Brussels where he has been living his passion for music since he was a teenager. influenced by many hip-hop, rnb and ragga DJs (such as Dj Cut killer, Dj Dysfunkshunal, Dj Noise-P, ...) he decides to step into the world of djing. It wasn't until the age of 16 in 2010 that he really started to practice his passion: MIXING!
