Day 13: Departed back to Edinburgh traveling through the gorgeous, Glencoe, stopping at Doune Castle (where Monty Python & the Holy Grail was filmed and some scenes from Outlander, stopped to feed some Highland Coos, and final stop at Stirling Castle. Stirling Castle has a long history with ties to William Wallace, Robert the Bruce, Bonnie Prince Charlie and the childhood home of Mary Queen of Scots.

Day 10: Picked our van and headed towards Loch Ness. We stopped to see Blair Castle, Ruthven Barracks, through Cairngorms National Park to Urquhart Castle on Loch Ness and ended at our beautiful residence for the next few nights in Fort Augustus. The beautiful former Abbey located on Loch Ness was once an old castle, fort, monastery and Abbey, then all boys school before being transformed into a club with residences.

Day 9: Explored Edinburgh Castle, did a tour of the Underground Vaults of Edinburgh, walked down to Holyrood Palace, back up through New Carlton Burial Ground. Finished our day with dinner at The Witchery and a visit to the Real Mary King’s Close.

Day 7: Spent the morning walking around Dublin stopping by Dublin Castle, Trinity College, and Christ Church. Didn’t have a lot of time to visit inside. Then boarded our flight to Edinburgh. Our hotel in Edinburgh was located in Grassmarket with views of Edinburgh Castle.

Day 6: We met our group tour bus in Dublin to head up to Northern Ireland to explore Giants Causeway, a picture stop at Dunluce Castle, then visit Dark Hedges and Belfast. On our return back to our hotel we stopped by the portal between NYC and Dublin just a few blocks from our hotel.

Day 5: Our driver picked us up at our hotel and we headed to Cork, then a stop at the Rock of Cashel before dropping us off in Dublin.

Day 4: Started our day with a horseback ride through the Killarney National Park. Then our driver picked us up and drove the Ring of Kerry. We drove through Killorglin as they were preparing for the Puck Fair, visited some historic landmarks and villages and ended our day a full circle back in Killarney National Park at the Mukross House.

Day 3: Picked up by our private driver for the next 3 days, Connor. Connor was an incredible driver on the narrow cliff side roads and in 3 days gave us endless facts and the entire history of Ireland. Everything we asked he had the answer to. Having a private driver in Ireland is not just about navigation. They provide a wealth of knowledge. This day we did the Di**le Peninsula, visited over 1000 year old Beehive Huts (used in Star Wars) and got to feed and love on some baby lambs.

Day 2: Group Day Tour from Limerick to Cliffs of Moher. Pictures don’t do any of it justice.

Day 1: Arrived into Shannon. Transferred to Limerick. Slept a few hours then took the bus to the city center to explore and checkout King John’s Castle. Castle one of many…lol. Just wait 😉

Walt Disney World just announced they are making changes to the Disney Genie+ service and individual Lightning Lane entry. I know, I know. I feel you 🥴😵‍💫.

✨Starting July 24
✨Disney Genie+ service will become Lightning Lane Multi Pass
✨Individual Lightning Lane will now be known as Lightning Lane Single Pass.

They will also be updating Lightning Lane passes to help guests:
✨Make Lightning Lane plans before you arrive, for added confidence.
✨Choose your experiences and times prior to purchasing, so you know what you’re getting.
✨Book Lightning Lane passes for multiple vacation days, all in a single day.

Lightning Lane Multi Pass:
✨Make up to 3 Lightning Lane selections in a theme park, in advance of your visit
✨Choose available times
✨On the day of your visit, once you use a selection, you may check the My Disney Experience app for availability to make an additional selection.

Lightning Lane Single Pass:
✨Similar to how it works now
✨Secure a time to ride one of the most highly demanded attractions, but now you can purchase to plan in advance.

How to Plan Ahead
✨Guests staying at a Disney Resort hotel and other select hotels will be able to plan Lightning Lane passes up to 7 days in advance, for their entire stay (up to 14 days).
✨All other guests can plan up to 3 days in advance.
✨Guests may purchase a Lightning Lane Multi Pass, a Lightning Lane Single Pass or both. The app will also be updated to make it quicker and easier to purchase and plan, with fewer steps and a new option to purchase Lightning Lane Single Pass and Lightning Lane Multi Pass in one transaction.

Disneyland Resort will also use the new Lightning Lane Multi Pass and Lightning Lane Single Pass names beginning July 24.
