Monday night at our scout meeting the girls all earned their Totin' Chip.
We went over knife, axe and hatchet safety as well.
They were very hands on, also learned the correct way to handle them and sharpen them.

Girls Troop 138 had their 1st Court of Honor Monday night.
Congratulations to all of them!
So proud of our Girls Troop, we had our Board of Review this evening and they all passed with flying colors!
They have worked very hard at this together and individually!
Way to go girls!
Tonight the girls worked on knots and whipping and fusing rope.
Girls Troop 138 went to La Crosse this evening to the Rotary Lights, then to Culver's for supper, before crossing over to La Crescent to see the Holiday Train. Adventurous evening!
What beautiful weather we had for our outing as well.

BSA Scouts of America Troop 138! This troop is new, and we are trying to get out and about and known in the community.
Birdnow Chevrolet of Monona asked our Troop to host their Customer Appreciation Breakfast this year, for a very generous donation. Our Troop will use this money for camps, equipment, supplies, Merit Badges, ect. Also to help us get up and going.
This is our 3rd fundraiser in a short few months and these girls and families ROCKED ALL 3!

The girls got to experience a lot today, they all stepped up and worked together very well! Great teamwork!

I do believe we served close to 400 customers, and everything went very smooth!
