Music Therapy Marketplace's primary mission is and will always be to support advocacy efforts and resources for music therapists. We work hard to develop designs that start conversations and educational opportunities with those who see your gear.

Full transparency, the marketplace is also an opportunity to support some of the education and community programs that our parent company, has difficulty billing for. We want to create "out-of-the-box" MT programs and support for our clients, families, and community. But those programs are often difficult to fund.

So, MTM was born! You can be confident that when you, your student/university organization, or your business purchase from MTM, you'll get great gear, made by MTs, for MTs, and to support MT services.

Our "Music Brain" design was one of the first on the drawing board and WE 👏 LOVE 👏 IT 👏!!

This design is all about the global processing and impact of music in and on the brain. None of this "music is creative, creativity lives in the right side of the brain" nonsence. One of the things that makes music such a powerful and effective tool is that it utilizes shared and parallel neural networks ALL OVER THE BRAIN. 🧠 Even UNDER the brain (in the brain stem) which makes its use even stronger and more impactful in spite of damage or disease.
