"I grew up helping my mom in her small food business back in my native town of Bamenda, Cameroon. I also watched her cook several dishes and learned a lot from her. We were basically vegan, not by choice but because meat was a luxury to most families as it was very expensive to buy. We would however eat meat during feast days like Christmas, and New Year's Day. My recent shoot for Ashley's birthday was a dream. I got to connect with her and her hubby.. who she raves about!

Ashley is the owner of .. a safe space for gentle and honest healing! We have been drawn to each other since we've met last year and this shoot was long overdue! She has assisted me in my healing journey and I am forever grateful for her!

Downtown Frederick scenes always have me in my feels and the window set up at just captures my eye every time!

I had such an amazing time taking images for United Way of Frederick County, Maryland Alice Advocacy Week. The two days I got to spend with them taught me a lot about Frederick County and the Alice community and how we all play a big part in helping each other succeed and build successfully!

Soooo... recently I got to be a part of a surprise proposal. Asa Weeks was asked about a photographer that he would recommend and there was no other name but mine!!! They chose me to make their proposal special and to capture such a significant moment!

I was HONORED! THRILLED... and a little nervous. It was a surprise and it was in DC.. what could go wrong?

With a little wish and a little will.. and a DC permit.. the proposal went PERFECT! Talk about relief!

Sooooo... I'm in yall! I was not only blessed with the opportunity of being in the 2023-2024 Leadership Frederick County Cohort but I was also blessed to received a full paid scholarship for participating in the EMPowered Mentoring Program with the Frederick County Office of Economic Development!

Thank you so much for the opportunity to expand my knowledge about my hometown and the opportunity to meet new people and businesses in the community!

I wouldn't be anywhere without the true support of my Executive Director Ashley Waters and the support of Woman to Woman Mentoring who is allowing me space to take advantage of the opportunity! It means the world to me that I have two amazing passions that I continuously rave about!
