Praying for Connor

Guess what people, I’m back in school and living on campus, I moved in today and am excited to get my school life back on track, I enjoyed summer a lot but felt ever since I left school I’ve been on vacation, so time to pull my brain out of my ass and make it work hard. ;)

Summer flew by! Last blood work was great as eas the CT. CT bumped to every 6 months and labs still every 3. He worked this summer as a life guard part-time. He returns to on campus at Lander on Friday

Heading home after a great week on Hilton Head! So thankful for the growth Connor has made in the lsst year! He pushed himself this week working on his endurance.

Hello this is Connor, today one year ago I entered the hospital, I was upstairs in so much pain my dad gave me a choice of getting my ass down the stairs so I could go to the hospital or die in my room, I don’t really remember a lot because my mind has been putting up walls and keeping me in a better place. But it has been officially a year, and I’m a whole of a hell lot better, I’m off oxygen during the day, I only carry it in case, my left lung or my bad lung has started to open up, and the tumor markers are gone. I’ve started life guarding again even though being in water right now makes me feel uncomfortable. I’ve been having fun and not dwelling on what happened to me. Oh and I’m off of all the medication that I was put on in the hospital, so I’m getting into the new normal because I can’t go to the old normal. So this is my one year anniversary of one of the big days that would change me. :)

Connor Ide had a CT scan yesterday. No signs of tumor reoccurring or any new ones and little lung change. He sees his team next week. He is back to life guarding a few days a week.

Good Morning Peoples!!!! Been a Minute, Dan Here. PT Fridays continue. Connor is now doing therapy mostly on Room Air!! No O2. He uses it to recover from exercises. Other updates…. Someone went Swimming in Lake Greenwood with his friends. Like under water!!! You’ll have to ask him how that went and felt. School is wrapping up for both Children. Then onto summer. Keep the Love Karma and Prayers coming because it works!!!! Love n Hugs- Dan

Today marks 1 year.

Connor is back to driving! He drove himself up to the LTAC to visit his nurse and RT friends!

Morning friends, Dan here. Connor’s Trach continues to heal and his body continues to improve with Therapy. Happy Tuesday Everyone

Day 5- This is Connor coming at everyone with excellent news, my trach is coming out the 14th Valentine’s Day. I’m so f***ing happy!!!!!!!!!!!

Tuesday Morning Pick me up! Time to get moving!!! Also going for 2nd straight day with Trach Capped Connors is getting it done

Day 1- This is Connor, last night was the first full night that I wore the nasal prongs. Today I’m not going to use my trach at all. And see if I can, and if I can then I’ll continue for 2 full weeks, in order to get it taken out.

This is The Sloth. For many of you who know The Sloth is the Mascot for Prisma Greenville Memorial Hospital’s ECHMO Department. Last time I saw there was one still hanging on a WOW in CVICU. Motto: Slow and Steady will win the race. Connor is still running but still winning. This is just 1 Sloth that was hand made by my Aunt Patricia Ide Wedertz. She made over 40 of them for Health Care Workers at Greenville Memorial Hospital that took care of Lori Wilson-Ide and my Son Praying for Connor Connor Ide while he was on ECHMO twice. She made each one different. Different eye colors, different smiles, different expressions, ect. I know because I looked at each of them. So if you have one cherish it. It’s yours and You Earned it. My Aunt Pat just passed away suddenly on Wednesday Night. She was a Mother to Brandon Wedertz, she was daughter, she was a sister, she my babysitter when I was an infant, she was my older sister who drove a brat places, and she was incredibly gifted as an artist, but what I will cherish most was she was the one who made The Sloths for Connor’s health care workers. Because she loved Connor. Hold on to them, as much as I hold on to my love for My Aunt Pat. She was definitely out there but she was Amazing Gifted! I will cherish my Sloth. ❤️❤️❤️❤️ that’s Connor’s sloth. Mine has 1 green and 1 blue eye. I am truly sorry for Many Many People I did not tag.

Connor took a shower standing today! He is working on balance at physical therapy. He is also rocking the online school!
